The location was excellent. The rooms were adorable. The staff were so nice and spending every morning drinking coffee on their covered porch with breakfast was a great way to start our days. This property will not be for people looking for a name brand lifeless hotel experience. It’s older and has character.

My wife and I had a fantastic stay! The location was perfect, just down the road from the main downtown area of Bar-Harbor and 15 minutes from Acadia National Park! The breakfast was incredible, the cook was exceptional! Staff and owner were very friendly and accommodating!

I loved everything about this place.

Location allows you to walk to almost everything in Bar Harbor but still provides a quiet refuge. Breakfast was always a special treat.

There was a TV in the room that had no cable and no way to connect to it from a personal device. Why offer a TV that you can use?

The Breakfast was wonderful, just the right amount to get the day started. The room was very comfortable, bathroom was clean and shower had nice hot water. Would stay here again as the location is very good to all of the downtown.

It’s not a dislike, it’s just a suggestion. The breakfast was great and served elegantly, but it was rather rich and we think that a simpler option, perhaps a bagel, toast, or English muffin, might suit some guests. But the coffee was great!

The location is amazing. It's a short walk into downtown bar harbor, and a short drive to the entrance of acadia. The breakfasts were amazing, and they were very accommodating of my special dietary needs.

The room was up two flights of stairs which would be fine if you are just travelling with a weekend bag but not ideal for those away for a long trip with more luggage. Room was too small with luggage. Bed was uncomfortable and creaked loudly every time we turned over. No power points next to bed for phones and no plug for the bath.

Bob was a very friendly and helpful host. It was an easy walk into town to shops and restaurants and it was a convenient base for our exploration of Arcadia.
