staff were poor, huffy, I couldnt hear her over road noise at the service window and she tutted when I asked to go in. also tutted when she asked me to pay and I wanted to check my booking first to check I didnt pay twice.

room had the expected very cheap modern essentials, comfy beds, clean serviceable, felt safe, everything worked, free wifi. actually other residents were fellow cheap travellers, decent people

No Coffee in the room

No coffee pot in the room was a little disappointing, but overall good value for the cost

I am not a particularly fussy or needy person, but I had to change rooms twice. The first room had a shower with a non-stop loud drip. In the second room, the heater didn't produce any heat and the coffee server wasn't plugged in. The reason was that where it was placed, the plug was too short to reach an outlet. I had to place it on the floor to have morning coffee.

I had chosen the motel because of the combination of price and location, close to where I wanted to be.

Room was ok, bed was noisy getting in and out of. Location was ok, further from town than I thought. Bus stop right out front helped, $2 by bus to get into town, $10 for an Uber. Parking out front of your room.

• The staff treats customers as if they're doing them a favor begrudgingly instead providing a paid service. • The rooms are not cleaned thoroughly, just enough to pass an initial look. • It seems as if this isn’t something they’re passionate about but more of an means to an end. Which is fine but you still have to do Good business.

Well, you're not in the center of course. Reception could be a bit more personal, instead of just a window.

Clean and orderly place. Many past reviews complained about noise, dangerous people lurking around, run down neighbourhood. I haven't noticed any of that and always felt perfecly secure and safe. Other bonus: a bus that drives into central Nashville passes just in front of the motel every 15 minutes or less.

Really expensive for what it is. Very unkind person in the reception, looks like you're bothering him. Not very clean. They could make a little more effort in the cleaning process. And also renovating would be nice.

Next to the bus 23 that takes you to Downtown in a 10-15 minutes ride. Big comfortable king bed. A/C and fridge works very well.

The front desk woman who helped me get in was very helpful; the man after her the following days was not as warm, but still did the bare minimum. The room itself was to my expectation of a 'motel' or an 'inn.' The lighting wasn't so bright, but the A/C was nice in the sweltering Nashville heat. The bedsheets were scratchy the first night, but somehow smoothed over the next two nights. My neighbors were locals, I think, or other Southerners who didn't bother me at all. The bathroom toilet had some obvious cleaning it needed, and the tub was stained from use over the years. I didn't use the TV at all, though it was provided. However, the location in East Nashville right by public transportation of the 23 line bus to downtown is truly iconic.

Frankly the place needs some updating and at a minimum some obvious repairs. It's a "you get what you pay for" situation but ownership should look at investing a bit into the rooms even if it means raising prices a little.

Short ride to the conference center. No bad activity around despite a somewhat questionable area. The staff always were quickly available even very late at night. It is very easily spotted (signage is good).

The third degree when I was checking in wasn't necessary. Asked the names of my guests. Made me walk back to my car for licenses Plate # Owner was on the phone the whole time telling her wat to get from me .. everything but a blood sample.

I don’t know what people disliked about this inn. The neighborhood isn’t shady at all, it was clean (no bedbugs in my room) and a bus stop with a bus serving downtown is nearby.
