TV reception almost non-existent; wooden floors/no carpets; chairs difficult to sit in; no land-line phone to desk; shower resulted in areas not accessible (i.e., crotch). Meals offered were kind of 'weird.' I'd say over-priced.

Bed though 'hard,' was actually very comfortable. Kind of obvious that room was well thought out and creatively (i.e, cheaply) finished. Woman at desk - very pleasant, accommodating, and helpful.

I really liked the repurposed industrial style interior design and loved the overall feeling of the hotel , all are welcome here. As a European native I appreciate the recycling option in the room and the great tasting local coffee and French press in the room. We all enjoyed the breakfast we ordered at the hotel the next morning . Bonus- the food is also local and organic , the waffles were amazing . The kids had fun at the saltwater pool and I enjoyed the pool , sauna and a glass of wine from the bar . Great to know fur babies are also welcome here. The staff at our hotel was exceptional , they were so friendly and helpful . I will definitely stay here again!!

This hotel was great! Withing walking distance to everything. The room was comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was spacious and the shower head had perfect strength. The bed was super comfy, and the fireplace was an added little bonus. Awesome pool with sauna. Friendly staff. All around great place to stay. I was not disappointed and will stay there again if I ever go back.

The bed was a little hard for me but everyone is different. I still slept just fine.

The staff was amazing and the location was perfect. We parked the car when we got there and didn’t get back in until we were heading home. The room was clean and cozy. Oh and we loved the fire pit!

The dog area had a overflowing poo bag receptacle that was rather disgusting. The housekeeping service was by request only but even when I requested it they didn’t do anything but make one of the beds. We were overflowing with garbage everywhere. One staff person can’t be responsible for everything.

I love the whole vibe of this hotel and the location is perfect. The staff is friendly and available but there are very few of them. There are games and bikes and a pool for the kids. A fire pit to sit by gives you an extra space to relax. Very pet friendly.

This is our second stay at Ashore, and we were as impressed at the first stay! We LOVE the rooms, super cozy & love that it is obvious the sustainability is important to the hotel, we also love the fireplaces. Pet friendly is such an amazing bonus!

Less than a black to the beach, easy walking to all the restaurants and stores on Broadway. Love the funky decor, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Dog Friendly.

There was a fireplace but it didn’t work as far as I know. We just used the regular heat.

It’s smaller hotel so I felt it was a little more intimate. The bed was super comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. It’s like a block away from the beach. There’s a small salt water pool and a sauna.

Excellent location, steps away from the beach and restaurants. Very close to key hiking points (Ecola state park). Loved the sauna! Excellent way to end an active day.

Noise from room above was a little loud. I could hear every footstep. Also the TV was hard to work - I had to get help, but the staff member was very helpful

I love that they use local coffee. They have touches that make it feel more comfy like home. The staff, especially the manager, he was so helpful and friendly! They also let you check out late with a fee.

Because it's an older building you can hear people walking above you and other outdoor noise. The wall heater/AC unit is pretty loud.

The staff was excellent and even though it's small, the hotel offers a lot of wonderful little amenities, like high quality body products, coffee, and bedding. The staff is super kind and relaxed, and the small bar/cafe has great food and drinks. It was so nice to get a little breakfast on site that was really good and reasonably priced! The small, heated pool was lovely for a quick dip and kid activity, and while you can't see the ocean, it's very close to the beach and downtown attractions.

It was a wild weather weekend. There was an ice storm and the power went out. They literally closed the hotel and left us there. We were there with family and had 3 rooms rented and there was one other guest on the premises. At 3pm they brought us extra blankets and fire cans to keep us warm. Then they locked everything up, front desk, pool, everything and left us there. Very strange. Power was back on within an hour and we had some bummed out kids that were locked out of the pool.

We love the boutique feel and hanging in the lobby.
