Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThere wasn’t much I didn’t like about the property other than the coffee service in the morning. The machine was difficult to use. The pods often fell through and if the machine was working properly, it would’ve been good, but it wasn’t and it frustrated many of the visitors there. You gotta give us coffee in the morning. Rooms at the Springhouse hotel, right next-door were less priced and that property more grand. I found 2 bugs in my room that I killed and reported to the front desk.
The location perched on top of the hill overlooking town Harbour and the small farm below was very nice. As long as you’re a walker, you can get around town from this location. My room is a little small even though I knew it was going to be small. It was a little smaller than I expected just navigating around. The bed was a little difficult, but this was the smallest room they offered. Otherwise it’s a very old building and they had a split system AC that cooled and worked wonderful pillows, bedding everything else was great. There was an absolutely amazing restaurant which was unexpected with a great bar and beautiful balcony and patio to dine on.

United StatesNo comfy chair or fridge in room.
The Inn is perched on a beautiful scenic hill with pleasant views of the ocean. farmland and gorgeous flower gardens. The decor is tasteful and comfortable. Room was clean and comfortable. Appears we had a basic room which is functional for sleeping and showering. There are common areas downstairs and outside to sit and relax. Warm & friendly staff. The rośe and cookie upon arrival was nice touch! Thxs will stay again.

United StatesShower didn’t work well , most of water comes out tub faucet ankle height. Doesn’t really fit 6 people, 2 single blow up mattresses for over 4 people, only 4 people seating in Living and on porch, only kitchen counter seats 6. Room for a dinning table but no dining table. Not enough plates for serving a family , I suspect people who usually stay don’t use the kitchen to cook, they probably eat out.
Beautiful setting, comfortable beds, clean

United StatesThe bathroom doors were lovely (panel doors) that came together to close, but these didn’t quite close all the way.
It has gorgeous sweeping views of the island. Beautiful, clean rooms, with a lovely lobby and bar.

United StatesNo tv. Stairs to third floor hard on senior citizens. Facilities not always open such as bar only opened at five. For a property that has a restaurant a little disappointing on their hours of service. No breakfast served at all. Coffee offered but only after 8 am. Can’t get if your an early riser!
Quiet serene! Great place if you just want to chill. Food was delicious but only offered lunch on weekends.

United StatesI originally booked a room in the Atlantic inn for the views and the amenities of the hotel however my booking was moved the night before check in to a building behind that appears to be a bed and breakfast under the same managment. They had an issue that was avoidable in my opinion with the town.
Location is great! There is a bike rental on the property which is very convinient. Plenty of parking spots if you come by car on the ferry. Walking distance to ferry and shops.

United StatesRipped me off. Tacked on extra $60 charge for no reason. I would never stay there again and plan to use social media to let others know to avoid it. I booked a room for $554, then was told it was $620 when I arrived. Never again. I told them I was upset.

United StatesWas traveling alone and never saw another guest. No one was at the desk after 5 pm and the doors were left open all night. Was given a phone number to call if I had any concerns. I did call the number but never received an answer until the following morning. Despite very few, if any, other guests, they would not give me a room on the second floor without an up charge. If you are an older guest, there is no elevator. Lugging suitcases up or down a couple of flights of steep stairs may be challenging.

United StatesMy room was the size of a pin and there was nowhere to sit. Had to use the toilet seat to sit on for a seat. The window shade didn't cover the window where the toilet was but did where the window looked at the roof. I was told on booking that I would have a garden view. The view was of the back parking lot and main view the roof. As this was a special event, it was really disappointing as I booked this room well in advance to get a decent room. We couldn't even get in bed from both sides had to crawl over bed to get to the other side. There was no place to put your phone or glass by that side of the bed as well. We felt we really over paid and didn't get much empathy when I asked if we could move the room. Also, it is worth noting that the stairs are quite steep and really worth mentioning on booking or in description as we are older and while we got used to it, other people may not.
I liked the clientele that stayed here and the outdoor porch and lawn chairs. That made our stay and thank god as you couldnt stay in the room it was so small.
