Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room had everything I needed except for a source for boiling water for tea or a coffee maker. You go to the lobby to get these. I would change that about the room in order to rate it higher. Kind of an inconvenience if you are in your PJs!
Very clean, uncluttered and no carpet in the rooms. I like this because I feel like it’s cleaner. Reminds me of an IKEA in many ways.

Not sure if my room was for people with disabilities or using a wheel chair but there was no carpeting in the room and instead used tile. Carpeting would have made the room more comfortable.

Wish the rooms had their own coffee maker and microwave.
The breakfast was wonderful, lots to choose from. Good variety. Enjoyed the 24/7 coffee/cocoa/tea. Very quiet and peaceful. Excellent beds. My husband and I are both blanket hogs, and they graciously provided us an additional comforter.

The duvet was a little uncomfortable. We had the air on at night to keep us cool and the blanket kept falling apart when we moved all of the stuffing would end up at the very end of the bed and we would wake up freezing. The rule size of the room was much smaller than we are used to. My spouse is 6’2” and pretty lean. But it seemed like we were constantly trying to move out of each other’s way to make room

I honestly like the breakfast but I think a great addition would be in house cooking and fresh served breakfast.
I love everything about Avid. The modernized look, comfortability, and welcome TV with your name. It's all worth the relatively small price to pay when you consider outdated motels.

I knew the breakfast selection would be small so I wasn't disappointed. If they did have a few more options for breakfast, it would greatly improve the quality of the stay. I have no other complaints.
It was very clean, that is a very big thing for me as it is difficult to find a hotel with that level of cleanliness in OKC. The freshly ground coffee machine was a huge plus, they have it 24/7 as well. The decor was refreshing. Although our stay wasn't long enough, we did see the gym and it had many options you don't usually find in a hotel gym.

/the info on line said there was shuttle service to the airport. When I checked, others of that company have shuttles, but that property had no shuttle. We could still leave the car parked there free.
The choice of items for the "pick and go" breakfast was very good.

I didn’t like the fact that this was the first time I had ever heard of AVID properties.
I enjoyed the contemporary atmosphere throughout the facility. Everything was new, clean, neat & tidy. The bed was extremely comfy I melted into it soon as I laid down to rest; best night rest on my cross country trip.

No major issues. Breakfast was good grab and go style, but a few more choices would’ve made it better.
Clean, comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful. Location was close to major areas, but far enough away it wasn’t high traffic.
