Our key kept having issues and our fireplace didn't work. We had a few people look at it and couldn't get it to work. That was the only down side. Fireplace would have been nice!

Love the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff. They encourage time to relax and unwind. Social times included fantastic foods and wines.

I did not like that there was not a toilet lid. I hope in the future something can be done about this.

This hotel was recommended to me and I'm glad I booked it. It is in a prime location off the main street. Everything was within walking distance. The hotel itself was a change from the average run of the mill hotel. The extras were a nice treat, from the morning croissants to the lunchtime nachos and the dinnertime pie and ice cream. The only drawback for me was the lack of a toilet seat lid, I ended up using a towel as a cover.

The location was wonderful. Everything was right there within walking distance the perks for breakfast lunch, and apple pie at night and ice cream was tremendous the staff. They were courteous and friendly.

Charming boutique hotel on a quiet street just 2 short blocks to the beach and Front St., the Avila “strip”. Lovely Spanish/Mexican decor throughout with little touches here and there that stay consistent with the decor. Spacious rooms with a full kitchen but with settings for only two. Our room had a balcony, gas fireplace, and a spa bathtub. A/C too. The best part: they feed you all day long, all included. Delish REAL croissants and fruit for breakfast, beer with chips and salsa at noon, wine and small plates at happy hour (enough to skip dinner), and three kinds of pie in the evening from 8:00 to 9:00. Don’t miss the ollalieberry pie, a central coast speciality.

There was nothing really, perhaps the only thing was that I would have preferred a room a bit further from the reception, as there was a little loud music playing during the day. But then again, while we could hear it, it wasnt bad, and we didnt have to go far for laundry or the wine and snacks evening. It is definitely not much to worry about :)

Beautiful hotel, amazing friendly staff. We were able to do our laundry in the hotel. There was a basket of complimentary snacks in our room upon arrival. There was even complimentary wine and snacks, which we were able to bring to our room. Everybody was just extremely kind and this was probably the best hotel on our road trip, thank You! :)

The friendliest staff around! Cozy, quaint hotel with tons of charm. We love the location and the bread and breakfast style to it. Every time we stay, we have a consistent experience. We have stayed twice in the last 2 weeks and can’t wait to return!

Can't say a thing negative....This Spanish style hotel is near everything. You can go to the beach, shop and wine taste all very walkable.

This Hotel was the perfect location for a concert we attended this weekend. We walked right to the venue. The staff was superb!

We stayed here for two nights over the Cal Poly graduation weekend, which was a special occasion so we were willing to pay the room rate, especially since all the hotels in SLO jack up their rates astronomically for that weekend. But for a regular getaway weekend, this was very pricey even for such a good location. If they have specials during the winter or discounts through Booking.com I'd definitely come again!

This is an exceptional hotel, easy walking distance from a public beach and within just a few blocks of multiple restaurants and cafes. The room was a beautiful suite with a big kitchen and plenty of amenities. Terrific Happy Hour and a very helpful staff. We really enjoyed our stay.
