We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesThere was a door adjoining another room, I did not know about, and was not considering anyone was in there. I was on a "boisterous" conversation and the residents in the back were so rude. Pounding on that door about 10 raps, like the police would. I was never really as ease after that. Also, the pillows need to be cleaned, as the smell of dirty head was very strong. I had to use Febreeze daily. The locking mechanism was difficult for a woman with nails to push down and hold down in order to retrieve the key. I actually did break a nail. I requested an invoice three times, and never received it.
I liked the quaintness of the property. I was unfamiliar with Fort Myers, and found shopping for groceries easy, once I located the closest Publix. There is a good amount of space to feel uncrowded, and if the weather were nicer, I could see sitting on the front porch with a glass of wine or a cup of tea. My week was a cold front week. The bed was comfortable. Loved that the place had a heat option.

United StatesIt wasn’t well lit at night. We arrived late our first night and the solar lights were out. The door to the turtle was hidden and with little lighting - we had a tough time finding where we were staying. After that, all was good.
We loved the small little bungalow. It was perfect for the two of us. It had everything we needed to cook a few meals and go out for a few meals. We loved the pool and had it all to ourselves.

United StatesThe pillows were flat, there was limited shade at the pool, the lawn furniture in the garden area had black on it so didn’t want to use, we had no no thermostat in our apartment and it was too cool most of the time for us, no solar lights near turtle studio pathway to see at night and mattress seemed to be worn out.
The privacy of the apartment, the location, the pool, the parking, the kitchen facility, outdoor spaces, the laundry area, the social aspect of the other guests and the value for the price.
