Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe curtains over the AC were sheer and there were no curtains over the entrance door windows. Anyone could look in. My room was next to a shed and there was a ton of junk stacked up so when you drive in thats the first thing you see.
The property had been renovated. It was clean. The room had a coffee maker and frig. Bathroom was clean and plenty of hot water. Bed was comfy. The room had a table with stools.

United StatesThe check-in wasn't great, but was no problem once I called the number on the door. I didn't need or want to hear the ex-girlfriend drama of the gentleman who works there.
We were able to stay for just one night between camping at Indiana Dunes and the Sleeping Bear Dunes. Location was great for a run at the beach and at the marina and on the path along the water. It was clean, despite being older, and there was a small fridge.

United StatesShower was either scalding hot with decent pressure or you had to shower under a trickle of water.
Quaint & quiet. Older hotel with tasteful updates. Location is perfect! Very close to downtown, beach & park.

United StatesThe towels were very nice and clean. The sheets were very clean and crisp. They were very few amenities in the bathroom, which was fine. I had to go by a hairdryer. There was soap and shampoo and it was on a very cute little wicker stand, but it’s always nice to be surprised with a little bit of hand lotion. I don’t think they did a good job of branding their hotel, which is unfortunate because it really is a slice of Americana and they could’ve taken full advantage of that. The town of Frankfurt is Dan. I would highly recommend going and I would recommend staying here. I liked the motel where my car was parked right in front of my room. They had nice seating private seating on each balcony, which was super fun Within walking distance to see the sunsets. I am a little bit particular, having worked in the hotel industry so please take this as a positive review.
I was looking forward to staying staying at an independent little motel. And the place was charming as could be. They were trying a new way of automatic check-in and it worked out. OK, I just had to call the phone number on the door. They were very proud of the remodeling the room that I was staying in. And they did ask me my advice on the TV which I thought was very thoughtful. I was a little surprised that they did the remodeling and left an old refrigerator in the room. I thought that would’ve been a nicer as well. The size was fine but old.

United StatesNo out let in the bathroom was a bit inconvenient. The door was a little difficult to get into place to lock, but figured it out. Overall, enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
Cute and clean. Good use of the space. Liked the bigger than usual frig and the table and chairs, and the chairs and table in near the unit door. Also the vintage vibe. Convenient location.

United StatesIt can be a bit loud on M-22, and difficult to cross the street to walk around with all the traffic. And it can be a bit on the pricey side for being a standard motel, but understandable being a tourist town. Wi-fi wasn't very reliable, and didn't work the last day or two of our stay. I wish they offered a few more elevated amenities to make it feel a little more special - maybe even some complimentary donuts in the morning at the office? They claim to be environmentally conscious, but have individual packets of shampoo/conditioner/lotion, rather than something refillable in the shower like other hotels are doing. I did appreciate the coffee, though!
The location is convenient for being close/walkable in Frankfort, while being easy to get around to explore the neighboring areas. The room was very clean and comfortable. Also enjoy that there is some yard/outdoor space to hang out, but can be loud with traffic since it's on M-22. It's a clean motel room!

United StatesRooms were old. Carpet and decor was dated and worn. They did have fridge, tv, coffee maker and microwave. Also rooms were very clean and staff very friendly. However when you pay over $200 , with that location you expect more.
