No coffee or cups in the room despite having a coffee maker. No ice on the property despite having ice buckets. The lakeside view was partially blocked by another building. No grill on premises as pictured in advertising. No plunger in the bathroom. Missing multiple lightbulbs in the room.

The view was fantastic. The accommodations not so great. Bed very uncomfortable. Place has gone downhill since 2 years ago. Many maintenance issues. Stepping into the room is difficult. I had to use a brick that was nearby to help with the step up and down. Office doesn't open until 9 am which is an inconvenience when needing assistance. Claims to have a refrigerator in the room, it did not. Shower is all rusted and should be replaced. Other than the great view of the lake, I was quite dissappnted in the management and the facility itself. I won't be going back. Will have to find a better maintained motel.

The room was very cold, if a proprietor books a room, they should have turned the heat on, in those rooms. Cold air came in around the windows, maybe spend more $$ on fixing the windows and less on the television. Televisions are nice, but that's not what vacationers are in town for. Spend even less on the t.v. and upgrade the shower

The location is nice, it was right on the water. The beds were soft and comfortable. The lady at the desk was very helpful, when we were trying to find out how to turn the heat on.

The pillows were tiny and the blankets were extremely thin. The air conditioner was just a window unit and it made noise. The shower walls also needed updating.

I liked that the room was decent compared to the outside of the building. The floor and walls were nice. The tv was big compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at in the area. Bed was decent. I loved the bathroom door.

No maid service provided during our two night stay. It was not really necessary, however we were traveling with our dog and the room could have used a vacuuming by the next day.

Beautiful location right on the lake. The fire pit on the beach was a great way to spend the evening relaxing

The cost for one Friday night - based on the kind of accomodation it was (a motel with absolutely no frills) - left us a little sticker shocked. The prefabricated, tin wall, shower stall was very old-school with very very old knobs. Ick. The shower stall faucet was an excellent height if you're under 5'5". Absolutely no room to put anything in a very very small bathroom area. The air conditioner wasn't exactly stellar. Thankfully we had brought our very small box fan to circulate the air better.

I will give it kudos for being clean! It had a nice little private beach area that you could sit on if you wanted to. The bed and pillows were fine. No cobwebs or spiders near the ceiling anywhere!!!

The bathroom was itty bitty, and it's in dire need of updates. The step going into the room was about 10-12 inches above the sidewalk, we all tripped over it nearly every time.

The location was great! It was right on the water and the lawn chairs were perfect for reading or enjoying the beach and water.

For $250/nite, really need to overhaul the shower (can’t stress this enough) and an ice machine would’ve been nice. Also, if you need to standard-issue a ‘map’ to use the TV remote, might need to rethink the setup.

This little motel has a lot of potential. Semi-updated comfortable room along Lake Huron. Very much enjoyed taking in the sunset on the private beach. Located conveniently near the ferries for a Mackinac Island visit.

The room was very dated and worn. There was no ice machine or hair dryer. The office staff told us to go to the hotel next door to get ice.

Location was excellent, directly on the lake and close to town.

we arrived a 3 pm, the room was not cleaned. ( the 2 groups behind us, their rooms were not cleaned either) had to wait at least 30 mins to get into it. internet was not secured
