The front desk lady must have had a bad day or was new. I got there a couple of hours before check-in time, 4 pm, and I asked for an early check-in to get my parking pass so I could park at the hotel and go to the beach. They have always done this and not just for me but anybody staying at this hotel. I wasn't asking for my key to my room just my parking pass to park. Also, I had already paid in full for my room, so I have already lost a day of stay by checking in after 4 pm. She said no because it was the weekend and they don't allow it on weekends. What? I have been doing weekend vacays with this hotel for years, and this was a first for them to tell me this. Finally, I was able to get checked in, and I booked a double bed room they gave me a king-size bed, and I asked for them to fix this also. I was told they didn't have any more rooms available. I get what I get. I asked for the manager, I discussed this with him, and mysteriously, they have a double bed room available. Hmmmmm. I hope that this was just "one of those days" for Beach Tower because we enjoy staying here and don't want to look elsewhere.

My only complaint with the facility was the AC unit. It was so loud I couldn't hear the waves at night from my balcony. While it didn't affect my stay this hotel is older and shows its age. It could use some paint and minor cosmetic repairs.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Hotel was on the beach. Plenty of guest parking. Great ocean view from my balcony.

Wasn't very clean. Mold on floor lamp shade. The toilet got stopped up several times during our stay. Also, the shower handle was practically dangling off, and it was a struggle to turn on & off the shower. Also i called booking. Com to ensure there were no hidden fees when I arrived, and when I arrived to check in, they made me pay a $250 deposit. Still waiting for my deposit back. Staff says we should see it in 5 days😡

I like it was beachfront. Double room with kitchenette had a good bit of space in the room. Had a nice view of the ocean.

The hotel was very outdated which isn’t a big deal but it was full of mold. I don’t think the bedspread on one of our beds had been properly washed & cleaned before we arrived. Some of the employees were very strange and made us a little uncomfortable.

I liked how we had a private balcony right on the beach.

I can do without having a stove but when you're on vacation at the beach you need a full size refrigerator. There wasn't enough space in ours for much of anything. Couldn't buy anything frozen because the freezer was so tiny. And one of the chairs on the balcony was cracked and hard to sit in but other than that it was great

Wasn't able to make my coffee in the room, decaffeinated coffee and no cup but luckily they had some downstairs. The door to the balcony i had to slam just to close it and if I closed it all the way It was extremely hard to open back up.
