Great location, 5 minutes to the beach. Nearby there is a shop open 24/7 and La sandwicherie South Beach. The staff at the reception are very helpful, patient and friendly. Room clean. The bathroom was clean and spacious enough. Breakfast is okay - cheese, ham, toast, water, juice, cereal and milk. The hotel provides beach chairs and towels. Good wi-fi. Air conditioning in the room, easy to use. $200 deposit refunded fully and immediately upon check-out.

When I think about it, the rooms are quite small, for instance, not a single chair... but it's nothing to focus on. It's a very good hotel.

Great stay, friendly staff and pretty good breakfast for being in the US ;-) You can borrow "beach chairs" and towels from the reception which is nice.

The best location for visiting both Miami Beach and Miami. It's 5 mns walking to Ocean drive on one side and 5 mns walking to the bus and visit Miami on the other side. The hotel is very easy to reach by bus from the airport. For drivers there is a public car park just in front. It's very quiet with a nice decoration and the breakfast is very good. We had a wonderful stay in this hotel.

Location and general excellent condition for an older traditional hotel.

Excellent location, staff very helpful, breakfast was good. Our room was different and smaller than what shown and described during the reservation process. Our biggest complaint was the extremely small sink in the bathroom and the lack of surface space to place toiletries.

The shower heads did not work properly in our room.

Location to the beach and restaurants was excellent. The corner room was nice and fairly large for South Beach. The bed was very comfortable. Staff was quite accommodating. Breakfast was good. The place had a really cool vibe. Comfy lounge area and nice outside terrace. I would stay here again!

Nothing, although the public parking across the street would only allow access card holders so it was necessary to park three blocks away.

Parking was a bit of a problem for us. We arrived 7.30pm on a Sunday and all the parking lots were full. I’m sure we were just unlucky when we visited and it wasn’t the hotels fault. We found some valet parking eventually at a cost of $50 per night.

Great little hotel just one block from Ocean Drive. Very comfortable room and sparkling clean. Lovely welcoming staff and beautifully maintained. Perfect location for the beach or buses to downtown and bayside. Would definitely stay here again.

The room includes a small closet. On the other side no way to find any space to place personal items in the main room. Same exact issue in the bathroom, where you can place at max 3, 4, items.

Very well organized and professional staff ( I think "friendly staff" does not mean much so I do not use this description). Well maintained rooms. Smart breakfast setup substantially fir for the purpose. NO resort fee!!!!! However you get supplied with beach chair and towels!!!

This hotel was a classic SOBE deco hotel. Small rooms but great location. Bathrooms need to be updated shower heads were awful but the location was clean, staff was helpful and well for a short trip we could handle the small room.

It would have been great to have a full-length or large mirror in the room (instead of just the bathroom one) for outfit checks before heading out. That was the only thing missing, along with possibly more countertop space in the bathroom for makeup and hair products.

What an incredible experience! This hotel is perfectly situated just steps away from the beach and downtown area, including Ocean Drive. The staff were exceptional, always ready to assist and even provided beach towels and chairs for our beach day. Breakfast was fantastic, offering everything we needed to kickstart our day, and the coffee was exceptional. The room was spacious and remarkably quiet; we never heard a peep from other guests. The bathroom was impressively large. One of our favourite moments was relaxing on the porch with a drink at the end of the day and enjoying breakfast there in the morning. It truly made our stay unforgettable.

Classy old style decor with modern amenities and a very short walk to the beach! The staff were very helpful and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was included and quite yummy.
