It could be a little noisy at times, A/C and refrigerator also being a condo with many units. It's not anyone's fault. Just used to being in a house with not quite as many noises.

Beautiful scenery right on the gulf!! Watched dolphins playing and many types of birds flying by the bacony. Comfortable bed, nice kitchen, and overall a great place.

The water. It is brown, unlike most gulf beaches. Practically no beach at all.

The condo was well stocked, with everything you need. Plenty of shaded parking and it's right on the water. There is a small beach in front of the building, but the water is not what you want for wading or swimming. There is a brownish coating on the sand when the tide is out. That said, Cedar Key's charms far outweigh it not having a typical Florida beach. Rent a golf cart (Milt has a golf cart rental right as you enter the condos on the left. Great guy!) Explore the island. It is great for just riding around on your cart, as there is practically no traffic.

The bed needs to be replaced because it sagged badly in the middle and I didn't like my pillow. Also, the cable tv did not work and when I tried to call and tell the guest contact I got no answer or call back.

The balcony and view, there was a tall bistro table and chairs on it. The kitchen was great and stocked with some items like coffee, sugar and other condiments. The couch and chairs were very comfortable and roomy. The TV was nice and big. The fishing dock was great.

The price quoted was the same, but the charge for boking was very high and not memsioned before paying. there was very little beach. mainly claming area/marshy.

Unfortunately, the accommodation and overall vibe of the area were disappointing. Cedar Key is still recovering from a major hurricane at the end of 2024, with many restaurants and businesses closed. The beach at the unit was shut due to debris, and part of the swimming pool area was also closed off. The unit itself had several problems, including a broken shower and a toilet not fixed to the floor. We weren’t told in advance about these issues or the local closures — though admittedly, we could have researched more ourselves. The owner is not part of the site management, so any issues have to be reported directly to them and won’t be dealt with by local maintenance. In the unit’s guest book, the owner highlights that they are a social influencer who helps people make money, but the first thing we noticed on arrival was an envelope left out for a housekeeping tip. Looking through the guest book, it seems most people only stay for two nights at most, and negative reviews appear to have been removed. The location by the harbour inlet meant loud boat traffic passed by throughout the night — so loud it sometimes felt like they were right under the unit. We cut our three-night booking short and stayed only one night. We’d consider returning to Cedar Key in the future, but only once more of the area has reopened and would not return to this unit.

The view was absolutely stunning. We spent hours on the deck watching dolphins, hammerhead sharks, and even flamingos from the property. One of the highlights of our trip was hiring a boat for the day from Island Boat Rentals—they were fantastic. We had an unforgettable time exploring local islands and spotting incredible wildlife, including sea turtles, dolphins, manatees, and a variety of seabirds. We visited The Tipsy Cow, one of the few places open, and had the pleasure of meeting Barb, who shared great ideas for our time there and informed us about the town's recovery from past hurricanes.

The Unit where my friend and I stayed was located right by the ocean and very clean. I love how the sun rises right outside of our balcony. This is not a place to go to parties or swimming though because this is more of a fishing little for people who just want to relax with a fishing pole all day. There were a lot of restaurants but sadly the hurricane destroyed most of them. Overall my friend and I had a good time experience and got a taste of what retirement would look like in the future.

Everything is amazing ❤️ The view is amazing I can directly see the dolphins jumping from the balcony, and the location is close to everything, from the city park, stores, boat ramp, and restaurants. We absolutely come back 🫶🏼

Starting up the shower is a bit confusing. They should include instructions on it.

Could use more outdoor grills. Our apartment didn't have one yet, there were one for each of the other apartments that were identical to ours located on the same beach front.

Great retreat during the off-season. Perfect weather, breezy days, down-to-earth locals which carried a warm, friendly hospitality toward visiters. Would highly recomend to family and friends.
