There was plenty of choice for breakfast. Pat made something hot every morning with always fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, juices and coffee or tea. She is a very gracious host and caring. The location is in walking distance to the beach and some great restaurants. Close to everything. We look forward to our next visit!

Courtney and Pat did a really nice job. Breakfast was perfect, served in the dining room of an amazing Arts and Crafts house. Just lovely!

Our Kennebec room was a bit small but there’s plenty of larger spaces to spread out in the house and patio.

It is the most lovely craftsman home built in 1913. Our room had wonderful windows providing great natural light. Ceiling fan was great too! We could easily walk to restaurants and the beach area. Pat and Courtney were so kind and have thought of everything you might need or want during your stay.

The shower water could have been a little hotter for me but my spouse was ok.

Hosts were great! Excellent with communication. Parking was easy. Accommodations clean. Good each morning for breakfast was excellent.

I don’t have any complaints about the property. Yes, it is an old house so it won’t have built in AC or heating, but the ceiling fans and mini heater available and ready to use in the room’s closet do justice.

It’s a very comfortable home! Very well kept and looks beautiful for it’s age.

Breakfast was very satisfying, fresh, and varied. Location was good with liquor, coffee, restaurant, retail, juice, and farmer's market nearby. Beach and art museum three blocks away. Safe area for walking. Architecture of homes and vegetation was enjoyable to experience.

We were told to park in the back, but it should have been emphasized exactly where to park, because we parked to the right and were towed by the apartments nearby. We should have been told to park ONLY on the left side. It was unclear to see the specific signs in the dark. The mattress in our room was worn and somewhat uncomfortable unless you slept at the edge. it showed wear in the middle. Also, the sink had a large crack in it.

This is a beautiful, old, meticulously clean and charming home. The room overall was comfortable and felt very homey. The owner fixed a fantastic breakfast every morning and was the star of the show. She was also caring and warm.

The bed was a bit soft, but still slept well. There was a bit of traffic going by at night which could be a problem if you’re a light sleeper

The room and house were clean and cosy, the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and the location is great, it’s located close to downtown Long Beach.

A wonderful old house with a cozy atmosphere. Nicely decorated clean rooms. The location is great, close to the beach and not far from Downtown Long Beach. Breakfast was varied and lovingly prepared. Pat is a lovely and unobtrusive host. We were so glad that she shared her home with us!

The only think that was less than ideal is that, due to the nature of the building, privacy was a little compromised. The room was really comfortable, but because it was essentially just a bedroom in an old house, it didn't feel as private as a hotel room might.

My experience at Beachrunners was really great. I was expecting breakfast, but I didn't expect it to be so good! I was also really impressed by the all of the amenities and the attentiveness of the owner.

The only thing I disliked was that I couldn't stay longer.

I felt at home, yet it was only a short walk from the beach. My room was quiet and was roomy enough for my needs. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was perfect. It's a great place to stay and I will be back!

Parking was on-street parking so it could be a bit limited but not a major problem for us. Definitely wouldn’t let it deter me from booking. Pros definitely outweigh the con of that.

Room was smaller than expected off of photos and description (was listed as having a large shower and dressing area). Would work well for a simple get-away, but didnt have a whole lot of space to prepare and dress for special events in.

Very quaint and cozy, had a homey feel. Furniture and decor was classic and matched the craftsman feel of the home.

The rooms are tiny with very little space to access suitcases, but this is due to the way the structure is built the carpets in the bedroom need replaced or cleaned well

This is 100 year old plus structure preserved nicely for your stay. The beds were comfortable with crisp clean linens. The bathrooms were clean and the breakfast was superb.
