Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

In the pictures there was a hot tub but when we arrived there was no hot tub and the internet was slow so you couldn’t watch anything plus there was no cable so basically no tv

the parking situation is awful. it don't fit a pickup truck very well. they should mention how small the parking spot is. and the cable remote had dead batteries. A.C. was loud.

Raccoons getting in the garbage every night. Had to clean it up every day. Needs some updating..

I don't think it is the properties fault, but there was a horrid garbage sewer smell outside...perhaps just maintenance being done somewhere, but couldn't enjoy the deck, too smelly.
The location was beautiful, it was a lovely space with a super comfortable bed. It had everything I needed, wish I had booked it for a longer stay!

The first night we couldn't lock the door because the battery was out on the smart lock. Other than that all was good.

The incline of the road. Parking not really big enough for a full size truck. Perfect for a mid size suv or car.
It's a nice cozy little cabin. Very quiet area if you're looking for peace and quiet. Not far from any of the attractions.

A hot tub on the deck would be nice. There is an area where one was previously located, because you can see the spot where it sat. Plus, there is a sign about hot tub use, but no tub. There is nothing else I can think of to improve the site.
The location of the cabin is in a wooded area, with a fantastic and peaceful view looking out from the deck. Cabin was very clean and the owner/rental agency answered our few questions quickly. I would absolutely stay here again.

We struggled getting the door unlocked several times.
Just the right size for us and our small dog. We could cook or just sit and relax if wanted.

The driveway was very small people basically need to squeeze in sideways. The porch was nice but as previous people have said it’s not far from a landfill so the smell outside was a bit much to sit outside with.
The place was nice and comfy for a couple to use.

There was urine in the toilet, and a dirty wash cloth on the bathroom counter. A little mold around the tub, but nothing major. The bathroom counter was dusty. The door to the deck was unlocked. Vacasa was more than willing to come clean it up, but I had already taken care of it. Overall, we will definitely stay again.
The location was great! The bed was good. It was so quiet. Just what my husband and I needed. We wish we could have stayed longer.

The parking was horrible. There is a lot of erosion on the side of the road and parking pad. You have to be careful pulling in and out due to this erosion, steep hill, and limited line of sight. The door lock is difficult to operate. It requires a 10 digit code and twisting the key mechanism within a few seconds. We did not receive instructions on working this lock.
The location is great. It’s close to activities yet private and quiet. The cabin is cozy and the bed was comfortable. The deck is wonderful for morning coffee and listening to the birds. The cabin is pet friendly. Our dog enjoyed coming along with us.

There was really nothing that I did not like, but if I had to complain, they should have better directions and better lots on the doors that was the only issue that I experienced, which cabin was mine, we could not figure out which cabin was ours. They were not numbered properly.
