Good location with views and short easy walk to waterfront Nice apartments with character

The sofa bed was a bit hard and lumpy

It was super nice - I really liked staying here. I would stay here over anything else in Seward! Nice to kick your feet up in some comfy recliners after a long day of traveling.

Nothing - it was top notch!

Has everything you need! Close (10 min) walk to train station, and 5 min to Safeway. Owners were a delight to work with. Clean, comfy, close to action.

Extremely clean and host went above and beyond for making the space ready for us when out train arrived. Easy walk from the train station and in to town and on the free shuttle route. Great View!

Nothing, it was perfect.

The host offers a number of amenities that hotels do not. The kitchenette (no hotplate/stove but very useful), dining area for 4, plus living room that sits 5 were all spacious. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of storage in the dresser. Bath is cute and snug with shelving for toiletries. A very well-appointed Apartment!

Limited space to hang clothes so make sure you us the coat hanger in the dining/living area. Luggage rack for one suitcase but the sofa served as our second rack. All-in-all a great place to stay in Seward AK if you want comfort, make your own continental breakfast and snacks

Walk to/from train , harbor, restaurants & shopping. Close to stop for free shuttle to downtown Seward. Clean & comfortable. BBQ with outside seating - stayed in ground level unit

Furnishing were exceptional! Very well appointed, all the details needed for an extended stay (i.e. dishes, glassware, pans, silverware, coffee supplies). We enjoyed the "hominess" of Den #2!

The stumping of the guests in Bear Den #1, which was above our Den. It would have been nice to have curtains to close in the living room when we retreated for the evening to avoid individuals on the street looking in on lower unit.

Felt like home. Lounge chairs were wonderful to sit and relax after a busy day. Beds comfy and little touches like red white and blue flowers on the table made it adorable.

Very close to the marina, very clean, hosts very quick to respond!

Bathroom is a bit small. Could use hooks on back of door for hanging robe or extra towel. Also, hard to reach the toilet paper. Would be nice if TP holder was installed on wall to the left of the toilet.

Bears Den was a great homebase to explore the Seward area. It is cozy and well kept by attentive landlords. We enjoyed our stay very much. it is located right next to everything you need, including a local grocery store, numerous restaurants, the Sea Life Center, and cafés. The kitchen is well equipped. I would recommend Bear's Den to family and friends traveling to Seward, Alaska.

The only thing missing was laundry facilities. This would have been a big help.

We liked that this was really close to the cruise departure location. Quiet. Clean. Comfortable. Cookies upon arrival.

Although not out of line with the prices of competitors in the area, the unit seemed somewhat expensive.

Comfortable, very clean, room. Kitchen essentials (coffee, bowls, mugs, etc) very well organized. Easy access from main highway, a short walk to Safeway.

Property well located, 10 min to the cruise terminals, quiet street, convenient parking. Smooth checkin and checkout, no time constraints for checkin. Clean room, all amenities exactly as described on the website, all necessary information was provided by the host. Host very friendly and responsive.
