Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Exterior stairs up 2 flights no elevator. Crazy. Room dark from small dormer windows. Thermostat took hours to cool

The breakfasy was less than par and the pool was dirty and the hottub was not very warm.
It was comfortable and quite with nice rooms and helpfull stafff. The building were nce and it felt like a nica place to stay for a night just outside of Bellingham.

Only two things were really wrong and that is how terribly thin the blankets were and no comforter or quilt in the closet. When I ordered one, they told me that bring one that day. They never did then when I called they said I’d have to come get it. I also was very surprised and disappointed. There was no housekeeping because I had left the place trashed Thinking it would be cleaned up before my husband got there. When I asked about it, they said you had to ask for housekeeping. Clearly that’s not standard so I think you guys should let people know of your policy otherwise a place is fine. Missing a piece of art And the bed wasn’t made very well. Kind of sloppy. Nothing too serious just details. But give us blankets, please.

Terrible tile grout in part of the bathroom, obviously the tradesman didn't know what they were doing. Breakfast buffet was just the basics, and two staff members only gave me vague directions on its location (it's straight across out that door - no it's not)

Our suite smelled strong of cigarettes, and the microwave didn't work.
Staff were helpful and friendly, and there was a nice breakfast served.

TV didn't work at all in 303. Staff tried to help. Manager did nothing as even a small credit.
Kind and resourceful desk staff. Manager was adequate. My 1st room needs a update and was a bit worn. Room 303 near stairs. Hard to clean as well. My room the next 2 nites was the suite. Totally clean, newer, less used.

Hot tub was kind of dirty. The staff was ok. We called about there not being towels for the hot tub and the pool. they came and brought one towel. Everybody was super nice though! Be sure not to order room service from the company advertised in the room. It is not their company and I’m not dinging them on that, but that company literally never brought us our food.
The location of this hotel was great! Right by the mall and shopping. Nothing in town was more than a 12 minute drive away. The room was fine. Pretty much what we expected from a room with two beds. I understand housekeeping not coming in every day during the seven day stay. But it would be nice if they could just pop in and empty the garbage.

Our first room/ suite was dirty- the floors had not been mopped, hair in the bathroom floors, stains and dirty office chair. The couch was even worse.

I couldn't find a way to turn the fan off or on low. The fan was blowing all the time and all night. Directions to the room seemed strange... no one mentioned that there was no elevator.

16 metal stairs to get to the second floor and in a different building. I am disabled and had asked for a first floor room. No response received and NO ELEVATOR! I would never stay here again because of the stairs and no elevator.
It was clean, bed comfortable, good location to the freeway, restaurants, and stores.
