Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room can be more clean. It smells very humid inside.

The room had way too much fragrance to it. Couldn’t figure out if it was a room spray, didn’t see a plug in room deodorizer but it was almost unbearable.
Check in & check out was great, the evening check in attendant was outstanding!

These are minor issues: We do not mind, and actually prefer, individually wrapped items at the breakfast bar, but instead of Twinkies and Ding Dongs, which are not typical breakfast items, we would have preferred donuts or sweet roll items - Hostess brand is fine. There are no USB jacks in the room! We travel with adapters, and can also charge items in the car, but it would be a nice extra to "plug in" in the room.
We always stay at the BW Executive Inn, as the rooms have always been very clean and comfortable. There was disappointment that the swimming pool is no longer available. We had a problem with the toilet that was reported to staff upon check-out, but that was only for this visit. We plan to return again when visiting the Columbus-area!

Wish we could have paid through the app for the dog fee. The tenants were noisy at 3 a.m. as they walked by .
We could take our pup for a fee. The shower was clean, and the little breakfast fueled us for a long hard trip through a storm.

Needed a thicker blanket they are very thin

The location is great, close to the expressways. It is clean, comfortable, and quiet. I also needed to iron my work outfit, and I was so glad that they had an iron and ironing board

Food items ran out and weren't replenished while we were there so selection was limited at times. Cold selection and waffles were very good. Towels were a little rough. Overall, decent place to stay. Had some trouble with key card. Had to reprogram every day but that is common at other places we stayed. Was always fixed promptly.
Beds were comfortable, room was good size, very clean. It had a breakfast with great hours so you don't have to get up early to make it. It was comfortable overall. Staff was nice and eager to please.

It’s old, more like a Motel 6. Towels were old, carpet dated and smelled musty.
Location, price. Breakfast was normal waffle and over easy eggs were a plus, yogurt and fruit juice it did seem clean.

I wish the mattress had been a little firmer and the pillows as well. The other room accommodations were reasonable.
The location and facilities were exactly what I needed. Just something functional to get me through an overnight stay. The woman at the desk was most helpful! She represented your company well!

check-in clerk/front desk attendant not very friendly toilet paper roll ran out during the night and no replacement rolls available in room ** I mistakenly left my laptop charger in the room when I left, and noticed when I returned home late that day. I called right away and the front desk told me they needed to check with manager about shipping it to me (I indicated at my expense). I have since called 4 or 5 additional times, no return calls, still with no further information on shipping. (6 days later)
The location is great for easy-on/easy-off expressway.
