This morning, September 6, day of picking up car, I call for shuttle service from Evans terminal. Lady said she'd send the shuttle. 10 minutes later I get a call from same lady insisting that they have no record of me. Did not send shuttle. Instead questions me about if I paid for my parking. Look, not only did I pay $80 at hotel at check in for parking on August 30th, I also registered my plate #, before the original front desk lady gave me the parking pass with my last name on it. I advised she will still find it hanging from my rear view mirror in my GMC Acadia that's parked on the side of the building right where I was told to park for long term parking. Another 15 minutes later the shuttle shows up to pick me up. The shuttle driver told me he was sent out to verify I had a parking pass before he would come get me. Nobody wants this kind of stress when they were up at 2 am to catch a flight, it's now 8 am and I am extremely tired. I just wanted to get my car & go home. This was very stressful and disappointing that I had to plead my case and bare the burden of proof. Better records need to be kept by the front desk. Room was clean but this left a bad taste in my mouth.

Original check-in was good. Helpful front desk lady at 3 pm August 30th. Happy to learn hotel has long term parking and shuttle price is reasonable and affordable. Changed plans and paid for long term parking here instead of at airport. Did have to ask for my license back as front desk forgot to hand it back after I checked in as TSA will need to see it. Room was clean.

I didn’t like that they ran out of towels and that wasn’t able to provide me with any. I didn’t like the fact that the hotels restaurant food was not tasteful. The phones in my rooms were not working to reach front desk.

I like the room size and the cleanliness of the room. The location is great.

No hot water in the shower (not exaggerating...literally had no hot water!), the AC unit was loud, no mini-fridge in the room,

Proximity to airport with free shuttle service, kids enjoyed the pool, breakfast offered a good selection of items

There’s a few things that would make me never stay there again while visiting Detroit. There’s supposedly a $140 cash only deposit. Which is fine because they’re protecting their property. However while checking in, I noticed some people did not pay the deposit, I had to. The receptionist would not move forward with checking me in until I got the cash from the atm. Second the door to the room was janky and didn’t open or close due to it slightly being off the hinges. The ice machine on the second floor didn’t work. Furnishings and fixtures throughout the hallways. Checking out was the worst experience of my life and I’m an airline employee who practically lives in a different hotel every week. I go to check out and get my cash deposit back and to ask the receptionist what time is the shuttle leaving, she said I had five minutes, not a problem. At four minutes prior to departure of the shuttle she just walks away ( I assume to go visually check the room) and the shuttle pulls off. I tell her that he’s gone. She said well I’m not giving you your deposit back… I don’t smoke or drink and I took care of the room. Not to mention I wasn’t even there the whole time. My guest was still there. No problem, I will call him to tell him to leave. What was so wrong to me is that none of the people that checked out and made the shuttle got their room checked.

The location of the property was perfect, I had an early morning flight and I hate mornings therefore I needed to be close to the airport.

The hotel has seen better days, with some wear and tear on the inside, but that is nothing against the property, and the rate reflected the state of the hotel. We waited far too long to be picked up and return, over 30 minutes, and I had to call 2 times to get the shuttle.

The location to the airport was great, and we could leave our car for a reasonable rate. Breakfast included was a bonus.

I don’t like the fact that the lobby smells terrible and that they gave me a room with a messed up toilet and I had to switch rooms with all my belongings after the fact I walked in to the floor being flooded and it was supposed to be a relaxing time to get away just seemed to be frustrating!

Always been a place I loved to come to it’s a beautiful scenery and has a pool !

The heater did not seem to work. Also we booked because it said breakfast included but it failed to mention you get 1 voucher for whole length of stay, so the other 6 days we had to pay which we opted to just go somewhere else to eat and have snacks on hand for our child.

The location was great, around everything I needed to be around and the road had very little potholes which is A+ by Michigan standards

Pool was not clean. Had to change rooms due to non working air conditioning. The toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall in the bathroom in the room we ended up in (1063). Entry door to building in the rear was blocked open by what appeared to be a homeless woman every time someone entered the building. I removed the block twice.

I did like the breakfast. The sitting area and the lobby near the pool was very beautiful. I really liked the trees on the lower floor.
