Older place, needs upgrades. Some worn & damage repaired plumbing and hardware. Some teenagers making noise & running around until about 2 AM on Monday nights stay.

Bed was super hard😕 I wasn't told there were pool towels. Need bags for people to pick up their dogs poo.

Breakfast was good! Pool was sparkling! Room smelled so clean! The grass was nice for my dog.

We originally booked for five nights but left after two. Our shower drain would not drain..so we were moved to another room. That shower drain was even worse than the original. Additionally, for a family of four we weren't given enough bath towels from the get go. I asked the front desk for more and I was told I had to return the dirty ones to get more. Okay, fine. Although we were at the very end of the motel and I'm having to cart our dirty towels past everyone's doors to go to the front. That annoyed me a little bit. The final straw was that housekeeping didn't replace our towels even after I left the door sign on and requested it. When I switched rooms because of the shower drain I was told that the housekeeper intentionally didn't tend to any of the long term stay rooms. I understand the intent is to go green but we didn't start with enough towels from the start so reusing for several days wasn't an option. I didn't feel like staying the full five nights was in our best interest.

The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. It's a great location and the staff was friendly. The beds are cozy. Breakfast was okay.

Hotel room was clean for the most part except the couch had a rip and it looks like it needs a good cleaning. Bed was too firm for me. More towels and towel hooks would be good to add in the bathroom. The location is good and bad. It's off a fast road with a lot of traffic since it's the main road so you have to deal with that. There is a light where you can u-turn at least with a Sonic, Starbucks, and gas station nearby.

Staff was very friendly! Room was overall clean and AC worked good. Pool was nice and it has 2 shaded areas to sit. Breakfast was good also. This is a pet friendly place and allowed my 2 small dogs which is great, for an extra fee. Room has fridge and microwave too. Shower has soap, shampoo, conditioner to use.

Room refrigerator leaking water in the floor tile seams,,,,,,, bathroom door needs attention,,,,,,TV remote worn out but new batteries helped a lot,,,, mattress and pillows kinda hard ,,,,,,

Turning lights on/off in the room was inconvenient and all of the lights were different (different hues & wattages). No plug on one side of bed, thankfully I have an extremely long chord. The door had a big gap at the bottom.

The ability to park right in front of room & unload fishing equipment easily & quickly. The small table & 2 chairs. Bed was comfy.

Strangely, Fox News and Fox Business channels on TV were scrambled in the evening, but OK during the day. All other channels were fine.

The location was on Padre Island, short drive to the Mustang State Park. We parked in front of our door. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable.

It is a great place to stay for the money you pay. Cannot say something was really bad, however, you should mind the noise as the air cooler is quite noisy and old. And all depends on the neighbors who park their cars in front of the hotel and can be pretty loud. As I'm very alert during night hours I always take earplugs with me to such places and sleep w/o issues.

The overall stay was very good. Breakfast was good, enough options to choose from: waffles, eggs, gravy, sausages, toasts, muffins, and serials. Bed linens were clean, mattresses and pillows were comfortable and big enough. The room was clean and had a lot of furniture, so I cannot say it was basic. You have a simple coffee machine, fridge, microwave oven, TV set, hairdryer, all you need. Staff was friendly and helpful. Access to the rooms right from outside, especially for the first floor. If you want a more quiet room, ask about the second floor, as the first one is right in front of the parking. Parking is perfect, has no issues with it, and slots are standard size. Easy to load your stuff into the car right next to your room entrance. For the dog owners: We were traveling with the dog and had to make a deposit and paid an extra charge for it, something like 30 dollars per night, which is much less than other hotels would charge. Despite of some comments here on Booking, I didn't see many dogs in the hotel, just a couple. To those who are afraid of dogs and noise, it was not the case, as we were notified that dog cannot be left alone for a long period of time and in case of barking they will contact us immediately. The grass was clean and the lawn was moved, no issues at all to walk your dog w/o disturbing other people. Anyway, I would not recommend leaving your dog in the room while you're on the beach, as beaches are dog-friendly, and there is plenty of space, so pets can also have some fun.

Parking lot is a bit small/narrow so it can be a bit difficult to maneuever especially if you have a bigger vehicle. Price for the stay was probably a bit more than value provided.

Location was pretty easy to get to, room was very nice and comfortable, pool looked very nice, breakfast was good.
