Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesIt's unfortunate that breakfast was not included. Additionally, the bathroom floors were sticky.
The location at Gardiner is very convenient. It was excellent that extra binoculars and water were provided for guests.

United StatesThe only thing I wish that was offered was some sort of grab and go breakfast or continental breakfast. Also wish the fan and light in bathroom were on separate switches, as my toddler hated the noise and therefore didn't want to use the toilet. We figured out we could turn the heat light on though and use that instead.
Loved the added perks of smores kits and water bottles. Made me feel appreciated. Plus the pool and game room are amazing.

United StatesLocation on the river.
The location was great and it was just a few minutes away from one of the Yellowstone entrances . The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom is outdated but fine. The hotel is located right on the river so we had an amazing view. We did not realize there was no elevator, but it was only two floors so it was fine for us.

United StatesI thought the reception area could be spruced up, looked old and would be great if the coffee station was set up differently near the sofa it's presently way too close to the reception area. Someone really needs to come in a do a makeover, My room had what I needed but nothing more better bathroom lighting would have been great. I did not like the fact that I stayed 4 nts and no one ever came to my door or my room to clean. One day I poked my head out in the morning and asked for a few towels to be changed and my trash cans emptied. I made my own bed, that was fine. Also towards the end had to ask for toilet paper. No safes were a surprise as was the spotty internet. Oh a light above the full length mirror would have been a plus. Now the S'mores let me just say they are nothing spectacular, the chocolate was too thick and the marshmallows were the smallest skimpiest I've ever seen, therefore they could not melt the chocolate....all of the grownups agreed. Really this is a great idea just invest in a bit more quality at the very least.
I thought the location was good, you could walk to some restaurants and there is a great supermarket just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. My room had a nice mountain view on the second floor and because I had sciatica they had someone carry up my luggage and bring it down to the car on departure, Of course I tipped generously as I am not a light packer! Our last 2 nights were unusually chilly for august so it was nice to sit outside by the fire pit and it gave us a chance to chat with fellow travellers, the S'more were fun. Beds were great really comfy mattress. Lighting was decent in the room.

United StatesThey want coffee in the cabin. That’s my only complaint.
When we arrived they couldn’t find the reservation. They honored the booking and because they were out of rooms they upgraded us to a cabin. The staff of the hotel not only accommodating but very friendly.

United StatesThe location was wonderful. We were right along the Yellowstone river. We shut off the ac and opened the windows and listened to the river all night! The hotel was clean, the staff was very friendly. The beds were super comfortable as were the Pillows. The hotel was walking distance to restaurants. A great deli across the street had yummy breakfasts and we purchased sandwiches for our daily trips! Great area Great town. Perfect spot to say if you want to be near Yellowstone NP. United StatesThe hotel seemed a bit run down - like they purchased an old motel and decorated it nicely but you could still tell that it had seen better days. Also, the bathroom wasn't clean. There were black hairs in the shower drain area and on the bathroom floor. We cleaned them out ourselves since we checked in late and we didn't really notice them until we went to take a shower at 11:30pm. We told the staff about it the next day and they immediately cleaned the bathroom but strangely enough afterwards I found more black hairs near the base of the toilet (we are a family of blondes) so I don’t think the housekeeping staff really cleaned the bathroom after all. Lastly, there is a notice in the room saying that if you don’t remove the Do Not Disturb sign from your door by 11am then they would not clean the room for the day. This is fine, but at 10am we received a piece of paper under the door saying that the room wouldn’t be serviced because the Do Not Disturb sign was outside the door. We were actually leaving the room momentarily and had planned on removing the sign before 11am. We told the front desk this and they sent the housekeeping staff over. Just another ding against the housekeeping staff.
GREAT location. Close to town and close to the north gate of Yellowstone. Our room had a gorgeous unobstructed view of the river. The staff were super friendly. The hotel had fire pits and s’mores kits, also a pool, hot tub, laundry, gaming room, and Adirondack chairs overlooking the river. Family friendly place!

United StatesRoom size was a bit cramped, probably because of the 2 queen size beds, was better suited for a King bed. Luckily we were there for 2 nights only not sure I would have liked spending a whole week there.
Facility clean but carpet smelled. Housekeeping provided a spray that eliminated the odor. Restaurant next door very good.
