Didn’t realize this was a motel with doors opening to the outside. The couches were stained.

Room was clean and recently remodeled. Furniture was comfortable. Breakfast was a good selection for continental and eggs with make your own waffles. Great access to the beach at the back of the property.

Walls are thin, occasionally you can hear your neighbors. At some point I had a neighbor who likes to smoke marihuana, I could smell it in my room (my windows were not open), seems like it came through the walls / ventilation.

I like the location the hotel is located, with access to the beach. Sufficient places to go for food. Staff is friendly and very helpful with any additional requests you may have. Parking is not a problem.

Stinky room. Had to buy lysol. Sofa was old. Cushions were from another old sofa. They were mixed matched. I tried to load a picture but it wouldn't let me.

Tv constantly lost signal, making it difficult to watch anything so we watched movies on our phone.

We loved the beach access, go from the parking lot and walk on a very short path to the beach, literally 2 minutes. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. Coffee was really good. Room keys kept deactivating, even keeping them away from everything else. Room was pretty large, separate living area from the bedroom / bathroom. We would stay here again. This hotel is setup where every room has an exterior entrance. Therefore when people congregate outside it gets noisy, we only had that briefly Friday night, management addressed it quickly.

Not a major concern but Would have gladly traded smaller beds for larger bathroom facilities.

Spectacular view, access to the beach. Friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast was basic fare but well prepared and presented. Liked that it wasn’t in too touristy part of Norfolk.

The bed was extremely firm and uncomfortable. It felt like we were sleeping on plywood. Not a very restful night after a long day of traveling.

Room was very clean and spacious. They have a lovely breakfast area and the ladies that keep it clean and well stocked do a great job and are very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The location is right on the beach.

The bed wasn't the best, bathroom was very small (and we had a King suite), and it looked like it could use an update.

The hotel is right on the beach. Has good proximity to Norfolk, Newport News, and Virginia Beach.

The breakfast area was amazing and the ladies who worked in it were so very friendly and helpful. Loved the view of the ocean and seeing the different plants they have growing around the hotel. Housekeeping was always available to help with anything that I needed.

It wasn’t luxury but for the price it was great. It’s right on water and sand is everywhere.

For the price it was great! Breakfast included and a good room to travel with pet!

Property could use a facelift. Carpet was worn and dingy. Lamps and stove had rust. Ice machine didn’t look clean. Shower had some mildew that I cleaned.

Room was VERY cold when we checked in; we had to pull the (thin) coverlet and blanket off the extra bed and place them on top of the bed we slept in. We had to crank the heater up to 80 degrees for 24 hours to get the room to a reasonable temperature. My husband never got the WiFi set up properly on his laptop - that could be because his laptop doesn't use the Windows or Apple operating systems.

The hotel overlooks Chesapeake Bay and our room had a lovely, serene view. Though the furnishings were nothing special, the bed was comfortably firm. Breakfast was decent, with a big selection. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice, long towels. Excellent location, very close to the folks we were visiting (who live in a 1 BR apt so couldn't host us for the weekend.)
