Sliding door to the bath area didn't close all the way
Clean, comfortable, quiet room. Breakfast ws wonderful and served very hot. Location was great for on and off I84

The room had a musty smell upon our arrival. It was humid and hot outside, and I think it was weather related. Once we had the AC on for a while, the musty smell vanished. I'm really not complaining, just an observation.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. The room was good, and the bathroom was clean and well stocked. The breakfast was good, many choices. We enjoyed our stay.

The bed feels damp. I had to leave the air conditioner on dry for a long time. Otherwise all good.
Great hotel. For the price I am really happy about the experience. The place is easy to get to and close to Scranton downtown. Parking lot is spacious. Check-in and bar staffs are really helpful and friendly. Huge property with lots of amenities. The bar is not crowded and has very good vibes. Room is clean and cozy.

Breakfast is too expensive I had got breakfast vouchers in the past but this time when I checked in there was a lot going on and receptionist didn’t ask me and I forgot to mention it and so the next day i asked if I could buy them and I was told no it has to be done upon check in so I was not happy about that at all I feel like that is a nice option for your customers and I feel like we should be able to buy it afterwards at least one day ..I was there three nights . Also no ice bucket in room and when I asked for one she said they didn’t have any they are on back order that I could use a bag .. well I didn’t do that I just got a cup of ice but other than that stay was good

Regarding my stay here, which I'm giving serious thought to extending an extra couple days. I found absolutely. Nothing to dislike.
Best answer for me would be "That there was nothing that I didn't like".

I didn’t like how the remodeled rooms didn’t have the couches .. they are nice to have but it still was a nice comfortable room

The heater was broken
The hostess, Christine, was amazing. We arrived on a cold and rainy day and the room was cold, with air blowing out of the heater system. No Heat! I repeated this experience to Christine. Rather than call an engineer, she promptly went with me to the room to see if she could get the system to work. Alas, we all agreed it was broken. She then opened up an adjoining room and tested that heater. It Worked! She suggested that we move to that room. We chose to leave the joining door open. She was so kind and helpful to make our stay a rewarding experience. We are grateful that she was on duty that day. Helpful and kind hostesses are a remarkable addition to any organization. Holiday Inn is lucky to have folks like her as their representatives.

The shower head has very little water output , there’s some stain on the couch.
The breakfast ($10 voucher ) is great value . Front desk is super nice and helpful.

the bed height was too high. its difficult to get in and out of the bed. Also, there are no individual switches for the night lamps. we had to get up and turn on:off the main light switch. very inconvenient.
room size was okay and I like that the bathroom is equipped with nice smelling toiletries

The staff is amazing here! Kurt at the bar Krystal at the front desk and all other staff were very accommodating! The hotel was spotless the indoor pool was great for my 3 year old grand daughter and the chicken tenders were awesome! It’s our new go to when visiting family in PA!

The room did not have a window to the outside. That was a first and kinda strange. The light fixtures were not easy to figure out. As far as I could tell you had to turn on/off the bedside lamps from a wall switch by the door.
Friendly and very helpful desk staff. The place was welcoming generally. I would stay again.

Just had a night halt. Property is very close to exit from highway.Left next morning so could not enjoy the amenities. Beds were comfortable and the staff was very friendly. will definitely stay again
