Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

What could’ve been better is we waited for 10 minutes when we first arrived because there was nobody in there at all to check us in.

The room was dusty on the ac and bedside table. We stayed for four nights and had them clean the room on after our second night. When we got back the only thing that changed was they made the bed with the old bed sheets and duvet and we got new towels. The floor was not swept.
Convenient location with a nearby bus stop. Not far from the beach.

There are still aspects that could be upgraded since they have redone these rooms. The bed and pillows had something to be desired. Definitely need to be upgraded. Also, the bath towels were old. Towels are a simple upgrade for a chain hotel.
This hotel is a pretty cool location. There is everything you need close by. We found multiple good restaurants that we plan to visit again. The rooms have been redone and are pretty nice. I like that there was no carpet and very roomy.

The beds and pillows could use a refresh and are not in the best condition.
Rooms were recently renovated and very spacious. Had a king size bed and was close to the beach (7 minute drive).

The lady at the front desk constantly lied about room availability. I was told they had no rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor on the phone. When I checked in they did and requesting a shower cap she said they were out.
The room was clean.

a bit dark
big room, easy access and parking a lot of stores and restaurants in the nearby (simple but fine) very quiet and safe (except for afternoon naps because of the pre-elementary school but kids sounds are fun) fridge available so you can manage beverages and snacks swimming pool and jacuzzi

My razor and personal polyester washcloth are missing. What the heck? They were in the shower when I left this morning, and now they’re gone. My suitcase and toiletries were still in the room, so there was no reason to remove them. I looked everywhere and can’t find them. Where did they put them? I’m furious. I shave every day and wasn’t able to do that. That makes me wonder what else is missing from my stuff. I usually tip the cleaning staff well, but they get zero this time.
Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Not too noisy. I liked the shampoo and soap in the shower.

The shower experience was a let down - the water pressure was quite low and on the day of the concert I was going to, I washed my hair, etc. during this shower, the water ran completely cold several times. Hot water came back, but it was still an uncomfortable/unpleasant surprise.
The room was clean and spacious. The front desk staff was kind and helpful - even recommended a restaurant I enjoyed. The housekeeping staff kept the property very clean, room was exceptionally clean. I didn't use the pool or hot tub, but they looked clean/decent. Having a refrigerator and microwave in the room was handy, and the breakfast was decent - real hot food as well as the yogurt and pastries type breakfast.

You can't fix a democratic state as is. Accommodation was acceptable despite.

The beds only had a thin blanket with two sheets. It would have been nice to agave a heavier blanket or a comforter.

Room was not clean. Lighting was not maintained. Breakfast was not palatable. Management was understanding but unwilling to offer reasonable recompensation.
