Hate the window treatments. Lots of large windows in front and back all at walking height. Need solid drapes to foil curious passersby and provide proper privacy. The frosted window in the shower is also totally insufficient.

Has all the conveniences including a full kitchen. Everything is quite old, but functional.

The front entry way. I trip 3 time going into the room, because the step is to high, you should have some type of platform to make it a easy step into the room... everything else was great, I will be back

Room design rather dated. Bath room caulking was broken, bathtub should be redone. Would have not felt comfortable taking a bath, but was ok as a shower.

Clean, no complaints about service at all. Large kitchen with all you need. Warm water and heating all worked very well. Blow-dryer , iron all provided.

It's a motel with no amenities, as should be expected. No housekeeping either. Felt a little dingy but not too bad overall, and fairly reasonable on price for the area.

Location was great, within 5 minutes of Belleayre. Was convenient to have a kitchen in the room, and the beds were fairly comfortable.

The motel is old but still holds its charm. It has a workable kitchen and 2 queen beds. It would be a great deal for a family as it also has a picnic table and grill facility in the back.

Our room on the end #8 was a little older and dated, musty smelling but the beds were really comfortable.

Great location to Belleayre Mountain, Phoenicia, Woodstock, Slide Mountain and numerous other hiking trails, dog friendly, outdoor gazebo, screened room, fire pit and picnic tables plus kitchenette.

It would have been nice to have windows that open to the fresh air. Even though it was 50 degrees outside our room was quite stuffy and we needed the air conditioner.

It was like going back in time to the awesome motels of my childhood! The room was enormous and in a beautiful setting.

only thing I would suggest is a dimmer for the main room light and possible bathroom light.

I liked the room and accommodations a lot. The rooms are a little outdated, but everything worked, the place was clean and the kitchen had everything you would need. The outside areas are nice also. I wish the weather was warmer to take advantage of the outdoors, but I would definitely stay there again. And finally a bathroom with adequate lighting. Most hotels and motels have terrible lighting in the bathrooms. Really the entire room had good lighting which is not common today.

It hasn't been exceptionally well maintained and is a bit rough around the edges, but really a decent property.

Well stocked kitchen, full size refrigerator and stove. Coffee pot and coffee provided - much appreciated. Lots of space.

It was comfortable but could use a little more cleaning, especially the kitchen. The front step to get into the room was very high and difficult for an older person to step up on.

It's a cute little motel in the beautiful Catskills. I couldn't rate the staff as I never saw them. Note on office door said that due to covid, the keys would be in the room, and to call if there were any questions.

The bed and bedding needs to be improved-seemed very old and used! The outside needed to be mowed and trimmed. The broken down car in front was an I saw. The screen doors didn’t latch and back one didn’t even close. The side needs a good cleanup

The room was incredibly spacious! The kitchen was a nice size with all the amenities! Full size frig micro dishes and utensils! Full size coffee pot with plenty of coffee and creamers. The place was very clean and plenty of towels and beauty supplies!

Could use some deep cleaning, a little paint here and there too. The step into the room is a little high, not sure how you could fix it. The AC unit should probably be replaced. It didn’t seem to cool the room off all that well and the nights were already cool. The room got stuffy at night without the AC. We never saw the owners the whole time we were there. It was a short stay though.

The lighting in the bathroom was so bright it annoyed me, but most people would probably consider that a positive. My friend thought it was great—Personal preference I guess.

It was very clean, and the kitchen was super convenient. Plenty of grills and picnic tables for our group, and the fire pit was a bonus. It rained one evening during our stay so we were happy to have the enclosed screen room to hang out in. Nice touches like colorful outdoor lighting and firefly lights in the woods. We all enjoyed our stay and will be booking again for next years event. Pet friendly too!

The bathroom needs a serious update, specifically the shower, but the entire room in general. The sink and toilet have been updated, but I had to plunge the sink to get the drain flowing. A minor attempt to cover over the shower walls has been made with an 8 inch diameter shower head, but while it is all functional, it is still really old. The shower head, I believe, is meant to be an overhead rain shower style head so it really doesn't work well when mounted to the wall shower head. While it is large it has a very light touch and something more a hand held shower head with multiple settings would definitely work better to offer a bit more water pressure and direction.

This is my 2nd stay at Starlite. It is just a couple miles from Belleayre where I have engaged in PSIA instructor training last year and this week. The Starlite is OLD but comfortable, convenient, clean, and efficient. It meets my needs for these training sessions and I look forward to returning next year. I like the ease of access to the location and to the room from the parking lot. I liked the free Netflix since there was little if anything on the available cable channels. I like the kitchen, free coffee, creamers and other kitchen essentials.
