We found it quite expensive for the night but it was fantastic.

Fantastic campground, beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff, the kids loved the a frame cabin, we all felt very relaxed there and would definitely return if we could

Incredible location literally amongst the redwoods. The cabin was so lovely and cozy, super comfy bed and the shower was great - only mention as usually they’re not! The staff were amazing - a huge thank you to them!

The cabins and campsites were very close together. Fortunately, people were quiet during "quiet hours".

Nice surprise to get free ice, firewood, and hot chocolate! Beautiful setting and very accommodating staff!

The bed was mediocre. Everything else was phenomenal.

The location couldn't be beat. Absolute beauty, and the cabin was ridiculously cute. Also, the shower head was so good that when we got home, we bought the same one.

VERY expensive for what it is and no wifi (which I get, but as an international traveller, it made things difficult) I also would upgrade the curtains.

    Stunning location

nothing - a well run and carefully maintained site.

We LOVED this place. Aside from the stunning scenery of Big Sur, the campsite was the highlight of our trip. Located in a shady spot beneath the trees, and alongside a beautiful river, the cabin was fresh and clean with a great shower and a new kettle and French press coffee maker. The fires inside the rooms were very efficient and heated up the room quickly on a chilly evening. The kids loved the basketball court, where there was always a game happening and lots of opportunity to make new friends. The laundry room was decent value and the machines were good, with a working coin machine also available! The campsite mugs were an added bonus, as was the free bundle of firewood. This is a really special place, located in paradise.

Not the campground's fault but Google Maps located it about 20 miles south of actual location (south of Burns SP, near where Hwy. 1 is closed): tps://www.booking.com/hotel/us/big-sur-campground-and-cabins-big-sur.en-us.html. We assumed there were two sites, north and south, so drove down to find ... nothing. Nice drive, though.

Loved the layout of cabins and tent sites -- all different, irregular in a good way! Cabin was clean, bed comfy, double windows kept it quiet, right on river, friendly staff, nice neighbors.

we stayed in a 2person cabin - it was tucked between redwoods, and amazingly clean inside. The provided coffee to make plus brewed some at the front desk. Exactly what I was looking for... we are from the east coast, so couldn't pack camping stuff, but didn't need it to stay in these cabins.

Drove down from Carmel in blinding rain late at night. SO glad we rented a Jeep! Found our adorable cabin and had a wonderful, quite nice. Even had the campground cat stop by and visit for a bit. This place is magical! Rustic, no WiFi, sitting on the river among towering Redwoods. Wish we had more than a quick overnight at this beautiful vintage style campground Can’t wait to go back!

Campsites are very close together. Some areas were muddy but it is a coastal area and this was spring weather.

Beautiful location, cute cabins. I loved having a fire. It was a bummer to have to pay for WiFi in addition. Especially because there was no cell service there. However the public library with free WiFi in parking lot was close and I was kindly guided there.
