Billy is incredibly kind and welcoming. Really friendly atmosphere in the hostel. Quiet neighbourhood. Clean room and bathroom. Kitchen is well equipped and large. Possibility to use the hostel’s bikes for free.

Room is a bit small, and there are no lockers for storing bags in the room.

The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready with helpful information—whether it was about getting around, finding a terrific meal (Thai), local tips, or just making sure I felt at home. Billie herself brings such a warm, positive energy to the place, and it sets the tone for the whole vibe. What I loved most was the community atmosphere. I met travelers from all different backgrounds and age groups, and it was easy to connect. It really felt like more than just a hostel—it was a space to meet people and feel part of something bigger.

Everything was great, though the laundry cost could have been explained a bit more clearly.

Billie's is a delightful hostel - a great place to chill and enjoy the company of other travellers. We staying in a room as well as camping in the garden. Camping was on a flat grassy lawn with full use of all the facilities inside. The kitchen was very well equipped and the shower great.

Both the showers were in the same room as the toilets. A few times people were needing the toilet but long showers were keeping them unavailable. There's nothing that can really be done about this but it did seem to be an issue at times.

This place reminded me of my childhood. Billie extended a very warm welcome to her property. She took us around and showed us everything. This backpackers hostel is no ordinary. It's better than 5 Star Hotel, if you care for respect, kind hospitality warmth of guests and hosts is out of ordinary.

The stay at Billie’s hostel was part of the excitement of an Alaska trip. Met fascinating people. Billie and her family were great, friendly and helpful hosts, and fellow travelers had amazing stories to tell.

It is a very basic hostel, that is really nice, that have everything that you need for the price you pay. Kitchen is clean, bathrooms are clean. I would recommend if you want to spend one night, I am not sure if I would stay more than one night, but is a personal opinion. The crew is nice.

I didn't like that one of the rooms is in the middle of the way to the other rooms. It was 5 beds, 4 in bulk and one extra there

Everything including the owner Billie. She is a sweetheart and I never ever expected what she did for me (a total stranger) on my birthday. I cant thank her enough. Walter took the pain of dropping me to the airport at odd hours. So thank you frm the bottom of my heart!! I highly recommend this property by all means.
