Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Elevator not working half of the time, had to walk up 4 floors which is not easy for a senior and disabled vet. Mold around tub. Very unfriendly clerk when checking out. Did not ask us if we enjoyed ourselves nor did she say thank you. Couldn't bother looking up at us. Very unprofessional.
Easy check in. Very friendly front fresh person when we checked in. Bar tender good. Mold around tub. Elevator did not work half the time, so had to walk up 4 floors which is not easy for a disabled vet and seniors. Great view and steps to the ocean. Very clean pool. Nice lobby

The closet in our room smelled bad. It was almost like old cigarette smoke. Perhaps they didn't repaint it when they did the rest of the room? We didn't use the closet, and when the doors were closed, it was fine.
Although the hotel was older, the rooms were updated and very nice. The pool and beach were very convenient and all of the staff was friendly and helpful. Judian is an amazing, professional bartender!

The only downfall is the parking it is pretty tight, and there is not enough parking spaces the overflow lot is across the street
We like the location convenient to restaurants and entertainment. The room and the pool area were clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful

I previous called in and noted for early check in, even though I know its only by request. Regular Check in time is at 4pm but my room wasn't ready until 5:15 no exaggeration. Couldn't use my own log-in to Nexfix or any apps only basic cable.
Room was nice/clean, wonderful balcony ocean view, complimentary drinks for Tiki bar. Great location with restaurants near by.

We liked having a big patio but there was no privacy with the big balcony. The steps to the beach are very steep and hard to get down. The hot tub was cold. The parking lot and garage was terrible!
We got upgraded to a suite just because. We loved the pool, the rooms were very clean and stocked. The staff was amazing! The price was also very reasonable. Gym is decently sized as well.

The tub was a slow drainer. Standing in water while showering is not ideal and when you have to wait 20 min between people showering for the tub to drain it is inconvenient. Also, the parking situation is less than desirable. Having to use the alternate parking area just inconvenient but manageable.
Location was great, staff friendly and helpful. Bar staff exceptional.

Wish there was free breakfast. Also, water pressure is low, but it is hot. Parking lot is terrible though.
Location is perfect! Right on the beach, but plenty of stores & restaurants in walking distance too.

The elevator is rough.
The size of the rooms are great for families. The ocean view was great! The tiki bar was fun to visit while at the pool. Bartender was super cool and fun to talk to about the area.

The pool in the photos does not look anything like what it looks like in person. Looks like a resort in pics and run down in person. A lot smaller than advertised.

The boardwalk is filled with pot smoking kids and the smell was at the hotel and we had kids up making noise until 3 am . We were hoping to hear the waves .
Right on the beach ,close to everything . Cute and fun welcome bag with popcorn , bottled water was a nice touch

Nothing bad that at all. They are doing building repairs fue to the last hurricane.
Access to the Beach. Close to restaurants and shops. All at walking distances and didn't have to drive.
