Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

When a place is advertised as pet friendly, it will smell like dogs to those who don't own them, which is understandable. We bought an air freshener, though, and that did the trick! The bedside lamp in upstairs bedroom had burned out lightbulb, so I bought one to replace it and realized it had a short or something, so I spent money I probably didn't need to. Finally, there were a couple of tiny little beetles around the apartment every day (not bedbugs or anything nasty!) They were small enough to kill, but I did feel like I had to be on the lookout. I'm not sure if its the time of year (mid-july)? They definitely didn't take away from the enjoyment of my stay, but I thought I'd mention it!
Location was great, the value for your money was fabulous. Very clean, very comfortable, and fun decorations! Laundry onsite (with supplies too), and great outdoor seating area. Super comfy beds!

Noise from the street, but that isn't anyone's fault. The property has provided noise machines for the bedrooms.
Close to downtown, good value. Easy to deal with.

There is noise from main Street. But hostess provided noise cancelling machines. So we weren't disturbed.
Comfortable and met our needs. Hostess is excellent, friendly and professional. Home is clean and well maintained. Loved using the Keurig for coffee.

It was on one of the main roads so it was a bit noise during the day if the TV wasn’t on, but still good location to shopping
It was a clean and cozy home. Had everything you need to use in a home. Even small details like the noise maker (fan, water fall) for white noise. The couch and bed was very comfortable

Access to the garage and parking spot was tricky. The alley wasn't very wide at all, and the trash cans taking up part of what space there was made it difficult to get in and out.
Location was convenient to surrounding areas.

This is really not a negative because we were aware the home was located on a busy street. While in the home, the road noise was minimal. Plus, our Hostess provided white noise machines.
Hostess was fabulous. she was responsive to any questions or needs. The patio was a delightful place to relax. Home had everything we needed for our 3-week stay. We were so thankful for the laundry facility in the home.

It wasn't a problem, but we didn't know that the second bedroom was in the basement. It might be good to mention that in the description. The road it is on is a busier one, but we didn't notice traffic or anything when we were inside.
This is an older apartment but it has been updated and was SO clean. There is an outdoor patio with a table and chairs that was so nice! Pretty flowers were there and it was just a great space. We also loved that it was pet friendly.

We stayed 2 nites on our way to Seattle . Neat , comfortable and pet friendly . Property is on a busy street . Much traffic in the day . It didn’t bother us as one bedroom was at the back and the second one is down stairs . The yard was perfect for our pet .Enclosed and fenced up .

The parking situation. I spoke with host even before we went about parking - should habe gone with my instincts. Prob a nice place - ????
We didnt actually stay. I do not know what the inside looks like- but the parking was bad. It was either on the street or in an alley. Not safe for your own car- maybe a rental wouldn't matter. It sits on the main busy street - its in an older neighborhood - prob nice inside
