United StatesI requested a non-smoking room but then learned they'd put a $100 hold on the room, just in case I ended up being a smoker. I get it. Renters can take advantage of the amenities. I changed to a smoking room so I didn't need to put up the money. I used to smoke so I could stand the smell. After ten minutes or so I didn't notice it anymore, until I got home and put on a shirt from my bag. It smelled of cigarettes! Lol
No frills. I'm fond of older things that still function. This room was clean and comfortable with a frig, freezer, and microwave. The bathroom was clean and the bathtub was ancient, and banged up some, but it's the kind I wish I had at home. It took me a minute to figure out the light switches, as they're all in one place. The TV had lots of channels and the wifi was fine.

United StatesI wish I looked at the reviews before booking. You get what you pay for a “budget” friendly. You have to pay a refundable deposit when you check in, $200 for nonsmoking and $100 for smoking. I understand the refundable deposits are meant to keep people from trashing/stealing from the room. Nonetheless being sensitive to smoke I can still detract a light yet lingering musk of cigar smoke. I promise I DO NOT SMOKE. However, many other rooms were smoking, the smell could have seep through the walls and smoke is VERY difficult to remove.
The staff was kind and check was easy. I only wanted to stay in town for one day and was looking for a budget friendly place. Being a professional house cleaner, I have to say the bed was super clean and free of any orders/stains.

This property is very close to various restaurants and shopping. The room was very clean. This non-smoking room had absolutely zero smoke smells. Excellent channel selection on DirecTV. Quick release on the Non-Smoking room deposit. Very friendly staff.
