How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The property really exceeded our expectations. Wonderful lobby to hang out in with family, with board games!, great restaurant and fantastic location. You can ski over to Bromley mountain from the property. Can’t wait to return.

Noise cancellation is practically non-existent, you can hear everything that happens on the floor
Very nice hotel: beautiful space, fresh and clean rooms, great onsite facilities and superb staff! The whole place is very well thought out and cared for

Not enough food choices, no room service, no vending machines. Room should have coffee machine and possibly a microwave.
Location to bromley for skiing was great

Similar to many places, it's seen better days. Our room had a mildew smell that made it so I had to keep the door open all night. It did the job but we didn't want to spend any extra time in there.
The staff is so wonderful and the location is directly next door to the slopes so very convenient. Very nice view from the front of the building.

The fireplace in the main lobby wasn’t on in the morning or afternoon. It would be a much better experience if you kept the fireplace going from 6AM-10PM. The fire would have been great to sit by in the cold morning.
Rob was the absolute best! We have stayed at 5 Star resorts and haven’t gotten the service, help and overall great customer service we have received from your host Rob.

Hotel needs some upgrades but I don’t care about that!! Absolutely fantastic location.
Great location. Hotel staff extremely helpful they work out with me a new date for our trip. Big thanks to Rob.Love Bromley we will come back!!!

It is used by coach tours. So breakfast was blocked by them for the 1st hour. Hotel is a bit tired.

Bed was super soft and tough on our backs. My back is tricky under the best conditions, but even my spouse struggled with it.
Great atmosphere and staff. Awesome view and access to the mountain. Very clean. Good hot water and water pressure.

I always wish for a hot tub at a ski lodge because there's nothing better than an outdoor hot tub after skiing/snowboarding.
Location, location, location. I was down the street from Stratton, on the mountain for Bromley. The balcony off the room was great, and I could sit and watch the sun go down and rise if so desired. Great pillows too. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and pleasant. The room was clean and provided everything I needed. The pillows were great, too, which is key for good sleep.

Everything is old and we smelled dust in the hallways and our room. They should replace carpets and refresh everything in there. The included breakfast was poor, not too many choices.

Rooms very basic.
Staff was very warm, funny, welcoming. Created a nice atmosphere of community. Can’t beat the price for Ski in/ski out.

Broken knobs on heater in room ,no pictures or wall themes, plain colors ,no pastels . TV service almost non existent, NO ICE MACINE ,WAS IN COOLER IN LOBBY? NO VENDING MACHINES WITH ACCESS TO SODA ,DRINKS OR WATER THAT WE FOUND ?
Had nice view of valley after rain left and fog lifted ,left no breakfast as had prior engagement with friends down in Manchester.
