Location was beautiful, spacious & quiet. The hostess was lovely & friendly. Good access to the surroundings with a car. Small refrigerator available to stash traveller’s food. Hot water for tea readily accessible.

The lodge is a beautiful venue to sit back, relax, and enjoy the beauty of Colorado. The owner is a wonderful person and worked to ensure our stay was as pleasant as it possibly could be. The landscaping is beautiful, and being located across from a golf course can provide a bit of enjoyment.

No AC. Was cool outside but upstairs room took a long time to cool off.

Breakfast was delicious! The property was well maintained and beautiful. We enjoyed just sitting outside visiting on the covered deck outside our room. Paz, the host, was delightful! We will definitely stay there again when we go back to Buena Vista!

My husband often wakes early and wants coffee. Coffee wasn't available until 7:00. Perhaps they could offer a Keurig machine.

The view from our balcony was beautiful. Our room had a jacuzzi tub and a shower. The hosts were very pleasant, and the breakfast was good. Snacks, soft drinks and bottled water were available in the dining room at any time.

A woodpecker on the wall outside the head of bed woke us up at 6 am so we did mention that to our host. Otherwise everything was good.

Beautiful lodge. Paz the owner is very helpful and friendly. Check in and out process is VERY convenient. Our room (Mt. Oxford) was comfortable, clean and quiet. The room included a full bathroom and even a jetted tub in the bedroom. The room had a fireplace and 2 portable fans. We brought a small george forman grill for cooking dinner and had a picnic on the porch outside our room. We also enjoyed the deer that frequently visited the property. The location is perfect for several 14er hikes. We enjoyed our stay.

Not a thing. We loved our three night stay!

We loved the setting. It is across from a golf course and the views are spectacular. Short distance to town by car to find good food. Make sure to enjoy the offered breakfast, you are treated to great food and conversation.

Quiet peaceful location only a 5 min drive to city center with restaurants, shops, galleries and bars. Wonderful freshly prepared breakfast by the host Paz who also provided good recommendations to enjoy the town and area.

The bed was not as comfortable as we expected for the price of the stay, and we hoped to maybe have some choice on breakfast.

The BuffaloPeaks Lodge is a beauty in a fantastic quiet, serene wooded location of Buena Vista. The host was extremely kind and helpful and was available round the clock.

We loved the property! Beautiful log lodge with kind and gracious hosts. As we were the only guests at the lodge, we were very comfortable in the community areas, watching the wildlife, and enjoying a wonderful home cooked breakfast. It was a quiet and relaxing weekend that we really enjoyed.
