How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I felt a bit unsafe at night walking back to the hostel. I never received my email with my door code so I stood outside looking for an email that never arrived, my code was in the guest portal, however if you say you are going to send it in an email send it in an email
The pincode locks meant I did not have to carry around a key with me all day. They provided simple hygiene tools for free, for example, toothbrushes toothpaste and menstrual products.

The parking suggested was expensive.

I wish the place would have provided more activities or spaces to have cultural exchange with the people staying there
I love the decoration of e very space because it makes it feel cozy. Also, the security was amazing, both the hostal and the neighbourhood felt really safe. Finally, everything was clean and it was nice to be provided of essentials like soap, shampoo and other commodities

The location can get messy in the weekends due to pubs & bars right next to it. Other than that, everything was super amazing!

I liked everything. The hostel is amazing, patio,clean, and tidy with big lockers. The social area is well equipped with all kitchen stuff and free coffee n tea. This hostel also provides extra stuff like toothbrushes, paste, combs, and even tampons if u on heavy days lol. Best hostel in US I stayed in What makes this place amazing and made me come back after my flight canceled was the staff. They all helpful, attentive, and welcoming, especially a sweet girl called Marta she went out of her way to make me comfy and in place. I love ya Marta and hope to see u again one day. Will Def come back if I come back to DC ever again.

Lots of amenities - free coffee and tea. And if you forgot your shampoo -- they have onsite body washes and lotions. I felt comfortable during my entire stay and my privacy was well respected.

The kitchen area could use some improvements.
The hostel is conveniently located for easy bus transportation. The staff is friendly. Hot coffee is free, which is a plus. water is available. Bathroom amenities are free. Please plan and pack your bags considering seasonal temperatures.

I found the air conditioning a little chilly at night, and the blanket is thin. I wore a sweater but everything else was great.
Comfy beds! Free wifi and coffee. Bring your own lock for the locker.

3 beds are to high. I had a top bunk and BEGGED for a middle or bottom bunk. ASK BEFORE YOU SIGN because those top bunks really really suck! No chair or bench to sit if you are in upper bunks.

It is situated a bit in the north but the area is very nice at night, lots of bars etc. Its not noisy when your are in the room. You hqve a lot of buses that go there so its okay to go to the center.
I stayed 2 nights there. The staff is very police and nice. They answer phone calls and mails very fast. Very cosy place and very clean. The girl dormitory was comfy and you have curtains in front of your bed to be more private. The shower has all product for body and hair. You can have free toothpath if you forgot yours like me. Its well secured, you need to fill a form before your arrive so you can access their online portal and then get your personnal entrance code to the building. I recommend that place.

This place is just amazing, Ingrid and Thai were just incredible staff I got assistance from when had questions or needed anything, peaceful, clean and secure place. The vibe is just what a solo traveler looks for, I just loved it. You will not regret to book this place. I’ll be returning for sure.
