I prefer my quiet well behaved dogs to loud unruly children. The no dog policy seems a bit unfair. Also the diarrhea sign at the gate as you enter the pool ? Is that really necessary?

Excellent location and view of the ocean ! Enjoy walking to the beach and close to excellent restaurants and cafes. Appreciated the laundry room at very fair prices.

No food available. We had pop tarts for breakfast twice but that’s not much especially for a longer stay! Would love to see some kind of breakfast options at a minimum.

Location by the beach, it was quiet, close to shopping in Carlsbad. Loved the adult pool option plus the family pool area. Lots of on-sight fun with corn hole, mini golf, grills, game room.

The only thing I have to say is the beds were not comfortable. I slept in the sofa bed and I had to put the mattress on the floor and still felt uncomfortable. The main bedroom had a better mattress but still not comfortable. I hope they can change that, I like to relax and be able to sleep when on vacation.

It’s close to the beach, offers beach chairs, umbrellas and other things that you can take and return. It has an adult pool and family pool in separate areas (this was great as we were on a little getaway without our daughter). Parking was convenient.

Proximity to beach was awesome. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Only downside was construction but it wasn’t that bad and it’s temporary. Would definitely stay here again.

Resort fee.Should have been waved. Construction going on and closure of some of the grounds. Check out staff was lethargic and uninspired.

The facility was going through a major refurbishment, which would have been nice to know when we booked our stay. This meant that trucks were blocking the streets and filling parking spaces, the facility had many detours, and the noise was disruptive during the day.

The ocean and sunset views were very nice. The oceab bluffs were easily accessable.

We loved all of the amenities offered- especially the beach items. So conveinent! Loved the kid areas and the family pool with the separate adults only pool. Rooms were spacious and overall clean.

Nothing - They were truly wonderful and so kind. We arrived really late and the security guard stayed to make sure we were set. Honestly - it was just a great trip.

It was exceptionally clean, the bed was super comfortable, there was a little patio area to sit outside, and there was a full kitchen. It exceeded our expectations! On top of that, they had an Easter egg hunt for the kids. This went above and beyond.

there really isn’t a beach across the street. we walked across the street right when we got to the property and there was a rocky cliff and not much sand. We did have to drive to the beach, but it was only a short drive down the street. Not walkable with beach, chairs, and umbrella. It only takes about five minutes to drive into Carlsbad but there are definitely no food options anywhere within walking distance of the hotel. the benefit to this is that the property is quiet and there is never a problem to come and go as you please and to find parking.

Comfortable, clean and well maintained property. The property is a little older so could use some renovations which I think they are working on. The staff was friendly and lets us borrow beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys and even a life jacket for our kids.
