Staff allowed a man to work out in the hallway at 7:00 AM. The grunting from this idiot and the thud of the dumbbells hitting the floor woke up half the hallway and when I complained the staff was reluctant to even ask him to go onto the gym like a normal person. Unauthorized charges on my bill totaling over $100.00 dollars with no explanation as to what the charges were for.

The only thing I didn't like was the hot water in shower was not hot enough.

The location is perfect for touring the old city. Gorgeous architecture plus the hotel itself is stunning. The hotel restaurant is great as is their staff. Cleaning staff were amazing.

Valet, losing our car and blaming it on us saying we told him it was a different vehicle. No bell hop in the morning to come up and get our luggage that they sent the electrician. Only one elevator in room was about one city block from the elevator on the fourth floor. Very small windows and very dim in the rooms. Very dark hallways.

There is only one elevator on the property which makes getting to your room on the fourth floor equivalent to walking about a City block. Elevators are intermittently, working both rooms for very dark and dingy. Fixtures such as make up mirror did not work. Onto occasion valet, changed my radio stations. Turned off my headlights and adjusted my mirrors that are actually locked. Valet took 45 minutes because they could not find the vehicle. No bellhop to bring our luggage down so they sent the electrician. Very on organized unfriendly and not Andy Capp assistant.

The room we had during our stay had no hot water and the shower was leaking and making noise all night and the maintenance team couldn’t fix it and they have to move us in the middle of our vacation to another room much smaller and they offered $50 dollar compensation for the trouble ( a joke !!!, $50 off $700 we paid per night for such a room) The building is beautiful and the location is amazing but the rooms don’t have a proper maintenance for the price you pay and the staff are not really helpful or friendly.

We were very disappointed that the hotel was undergoing renovations and we were not made aware of it before booking our stay. There was tarp all over the lobby and workers were all over. Our room was not ready after the check-in time and we did not have access to a restroom in the lobby.

I called a few days ahead of our stay to request adjoining rooms, and that message was never relayed. There was an adjoining room empty and we asked to switch one of our rooms and were told we couldn't. One elevator for the entire hotel is crazy. I felt nickled and dimed to death. Give me one fee showing all costs, including parking.

The location was great. We didn't want to try and park numerous vehicles in downtown St. Augustine.
