Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesFurniture is pretty worn. No maid service during our 4 night stay.
Rooms are large, uncluttered & clean. There is a large window with a great view of the ocean. Really like that the window can be opened for fresh air. Bed was a little hard, but comfortable overall. Nice bathroom amenities. This was our 4th time staying here & will return again. Best beach access!

United StatesThe occupants on the next room were so noisy until 0400. The next day we asked if we could transfer to another room. We got a detailed voicemail that they could move us to another room but when we came in , the receptionist was so rude. She was saying that she didn’t leave that message that I second guessed myself. Then when my husband and I retrieved the massage she specially said that the manager said hang they could move us. She then say that because we booked from Booking.com that she could not transfer us. We have always booked from a third party and never had this problem. Plus she was rude when I asked what was the problem. She didn’t apologize but said I already told you. Poor customer service. My husband said maybe she was stressed because of the baby. Other issues I had was the bad smell Jem flushing the toilet and musty smell that you smell in the bed. I had to cover my nose and had trouble with it on the first night.
The location is really good. Kite festival was literally short walking distance from the hotel. We had an ocean view so we could see the vendors and some kites.

NetherlandsStaff behavior/communication was confusing and erratic. We forgot our son's (essential and expensive, worth roughly USD 800) medication in the fridge in our room. Luckily, it was found - as confirmed on the phone - and put in a fridge at the front desk (even though days later another employee wrote to us that it had not been found, which was weird). Since we were traveling southwards, we asked the hotel manager to send the medication to Los Angeles, which she agreed to. At first the plan was to send the hotel manager a pre-addressed and pre-paid box/envelope, but the Fedex guy we went to see in our next destination told us it would be easier and much faster to send her a pre-paid label by email, which she then could use to send us the medication in any Fedex envelope (the package being very small). This sounded perfect, but to make sure the hotel manager agreed with this slight change of plans, the Fedex guy and I called her together to ask if this would be ok, as it meant she would have to spend USD 1-2 on an envelope, which I even offered to reimburse. She assured us this would not be a problem, and she would drop the envelope as soon as she would receive the label. So I proceeded to pay roughly USD 35 for the label, which then was sent to her by email (and received by her). So far so good. However, here the problems started. Firstly, she never used the label we sent to her (I could track this) so the medication was never sent. Secondly, I could not reach her by phone again. I only spoke to various colleagues of her, who told me she had instructed them not to send the medication unless a pre-paid envelope or box would arrive, which was NOT what we agreed. I called multiple times, asking what the problem was, and if any extra payment from my side was needed or expected. However, I heard nothing back and/or the phone was not picked up anymore. Long story short: we flew home without the medication and having spent an extra USD 35 in vain.
Our room was spacious and clean. The location is ideal: very close to the beach and at the same time in the center of the village, which is very lively.

United StatesTrash on ground outside my door from overflowing can and although the rest of the furnishings were nice, the chairs at the table were awful. The upholstery was very cracked and gross. The chairs weren’t even good enough to go to a thrift store. They should be tossed. Really cheapened the experience.

United StatesI left my cell phone on the counter NO ONE ELSE was checking in. I realized about 20 minutes later that i left my phone on the office counter , called down to the front office ,She seemed confused and was hesitant to answer if she found a phone on the counter. when pushed about my phone she said she gave to another person staying at the hotel. I headed to the office and there she stood knocking on a room and asking for my phone. Handed it back to me with NO apology or comment of any kind. DEER in headlight look. My family called the phone about 20 times and no one had the decency to return to the office. I had to use my find my I phone to get to the end result.
