United StatesShould not have to pay to park. No movie channels or even basic cable. Air conditioners should NEVER turn off just because you have left the room. Especially in this awful heat wave. Took forever to cool down again. Unfortunately because of these things we won’t be back.

United StatesThe mini fridge was frozen over and there was no way to keep our food cold or refreeze our ice packs for travel. The rooms need an upgrade, they look very outdated. At least the carpet to start with. We did not sleep well. Every single time the air kicked on or off it was very loud. And the mini fridge being broken kept making a loud banging noise.
The location is beautiful and the building itself is extravagant. We were able to upgrade using their upgrade system. We also enjoyed breakfast at the buffet and love the coffee shop. We appreciated the in shower soaps and Teresa (I believe was her name) was so sweet at check in.

United StatesWe had problems with our AC and slept pretty hot the first night. Maintenance responded quickly the next morning, but it didn't work that evening. I put the AC on "high fan," which caused the AC not to work. The repairman said some of the rooms have that issue. I think a notice should be made not to put on a high fan, so no one else has to deal with sleeping too warm. Also, the first night there, with no AC, included an evacuation of the entire hotel for something that was a false alarm. But these things do happen.
The Sunday Buffet is exceptional. Everything was cooked to perfection. The entire staff, both at the restaurant and the hotel, was friendly and professional and immediately responsive if we needed anything.

United StatesIt seemed the hotel was out of date with decor, I'd say by 10 15 yrs. Also, prices on everything seemed to be 30 to 40 percent more, which seemed unfair. More amenities such as a free breakfast, for the price paid there should be less cost to certain items or areas. The room did not have a microwave, coffee cups for the coffee maker, and no hand soap thought that was odd. Wish more things were included for the price you pay to stay at the hotel.
Great staff, scenery, the location was great, and I enjoyed the pool.

United StatesPaying for parking. The check in process using Booking.com with new staff working the front desk was a bit hectic. They gave me the wrong room and I had to change rooms. They kept telling me that my card was over the limit when I entered 3 different cards that had no charges on them. Then they realized it had something to do with Booking.com. Before they realized that they were treating me like I was the problem and my cards were over the limit. It was a bit embarrassing.

United StatesThe hotel was showing a lot of wear xompared to when we stayed there 20 years ago. It's not being kept up. The floor of our tub was stained, the ice machine on our floor was not working, wallpaper throughout the building was peeling, etc. Our refrigerator temperature knob was broken. Fortunately, we had pliers and was able to turn it on. We had to contact the front desk daily to get basic items that weren't being refreshed in the room like water cups, coffee cups, coffee and toilet paper. The trash was not removed from the room and began to stink on day 2.
The staff were very pleasant and courteous. We were given a complimentary room upgrade in celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary. The spa staff were very accommodating.
