I can't say I am thinking I got nothing. may I suggest, if weather permits. An outside move night beach chairs king size white bed sheet small campfire, popcorn, blanket, and depending on the crowd staying the movie can go from cult classic, greese type ,western kids this could be endless . When everything shuts down , you could have a snack stand ext., let me know if you need help!! 😁 😉

It was classic, very retro, LOVE THE OLD B- MOVIE VIBE, very cult classic I only wish I could have stayed when the sun was out . Next time for shore!! Chris and his wife,( forgive me i forgot her name,) are very cool and down to earth happy couple. who put life into that place and for that I thank you . I can only look forward to my next visit.

I had no complaints. The owners are amazing.

Excellent customer service. Would highly recommend those on a budget. An older motel but very comfortable. Needs upgrades, but I will definitely be back.

It's probably 100 years old, so the bathroom could use a little touch up, and be a bit cleaner.

Chris by the Sea is a little budget Motel that gives you just what you need, a clean bed, clean towels in the bathroom,, and a kitchenette, all at a great price. If you don't need all the fancy bells and whistles, it's a decent place to stay. They'll even play cards with you if you get bored!

The helpfulness and friendliness of the owners, the better than average amenities to enrich value of the usual micro/fridge motel unit (toaster, paper plates, plastic flatware sets), great fridge w/separate freezer section. Ease of access w/parking just outside unit also a plus for us ADA folks.

the odor of first walking in the room, musty but that's to be expected at the ocean in some places i guess. poor internet wifi service, we had to use the hotspots from the cellphone.

good location beach access not far :) everything was nearby. We really enjoyed the morning deer walking on through the parking lot.

No outlet in bathroom for hair dryer, nearest one was by TV with mirror across room. Old coffee grounds left in bottom of coffeemaker basket.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the family unit that had a full kitchen with dishes to use and two seperate bedrooms. It was very comfortable and felt like we were staying in a little apartment. The walk to the beach only took a couple minutes.Will stay there again for sure.

It was fine. It was pouring rain with wind during my stay but it was January out on the coast in Washington.

Was there for a conference in January. It had the best price compared to the others in the town. Interestingly I walked into the office, the manager said "Hello, welcome, watch out for bears in the area" He then told me about recent bear encounters in the town.

Bathroom badly needs updated, new mattress is needed on the bed, and a larger TV screen.

The facility needed updated. It is what we expected for the money. The owners were very pleasant and kind.

The room with 2 beds and large kitchen wasn't available. However I made my room work out.

The property is about 2 blocks from the ocean beach by car, and has a path from the rooms to the beach as well. I'm booking now for next years trip.

Some of the cupboard doors are about to come off otherwise everything was perfect for the 3 of us.

Brought our own food and was happy to have everything we needed to cook with. Great location, our 2nd time staying and we'll back again.

I'm 6ft and the shower head was a little low and the shower was a little cramped and the toilet was tiny and low. No USB plug ins anywhere so bring chargers.

It was a nice quaint room. Not to far from the Ocean Shores. Single story so no noisy upstairs neighbors. The owners are very nice and an overall great experience.

Furnishings could use an update, but we knew this going in, and wanted to support a locally owned, mom-and-pop place. Bed wasn't terrible, but seemed like it might have a slight indentation in the middle. Overall, furnishings are basic. If you're looking for a reasonably priced place close to the beach, this does the job quite well.

Just a few minute walk from the beach! Very quiet location right on the edge of town--not too far from food options, but nice to not be right in the middle of everything. Owners were lovely and provided dinner recommendations.

The bed was a little hard and there were flies in my room.

The room was a bit better than I expected, considering it was less expensive than most other rentals. My favorite things were that it was quiet, I was able to park right in front of my room (no stairs or elevators), very close to a beach access, near town, had a good size fridge, and a microwave. It even had a toaster...had I known I would have brought something to toast! I also really loved a decor item that spoke to my heart. The room was dated and no frills, but clean and all I needed for a weekend getaway by myself.

If I could have got to stay longer.

I have stayed ALL over in resorts (used to sell timeshares). This little motel is absolutely the beach experience. Cozy, beachy set off from town. AM so looking forward to future stays.
