We had planned to do our laundry in the middle of our long driving trip but the washing machine didn’t work. We also planned to do a barbecue but the bbq didn’t work either. We were told that they had broken that morning. I understand that things can break, but I hope the host puts that on the booking.com website because some people may be choosing the property based on one or both of those things.

We have no complaints, in fact, we plan to return in the future, next time for more days. Thanks Ash!

It was everything we wanted in a romantic get-away. This was a birthday surprise for me from my husband. Ash was a great host. Sitting on the back porch looking at the mountains in the distance with the breeze was soothing.

Overall it was good. The kitchen needs more supplies and equipment. We are used to kitchen with more tools, towels and the dishes were dirty! We rewashed what we needed before we used them. It was comfortable.

Location did have noticeable traffic noise from Hwy 62, but this was a minor issue.

Lovely, unique cabin; terrific, responsive host, very clean and comfortable cabin close to town and north entrance to JTNP, well-appointed kitchen.

I'd like to check in earlier and check out later so we could spend more time at the cabin.

It was warm and cozy. The cabin is decorated in a very fun unusual way with a lot of colors. There are windows and views everywhere. Like that there is a carport. The host was very friendly, and the cabin had everything we needed.

Light fixtures in house needed some work. Did not like the bedroom side table lights when attempting to charge phone. When we turned out the lights, the outlet was also off.

The location was perfect for our needs and we especially enjoyed watching the sunset from the porch

The lights outside on the path we couldn’t turn off which was unfortunate for star gazing, but other than that it was nice.

It was very cute and nice! We laid outside looking at the stars at night. Luckily the house next to us was unoccupied that night. It was a good location and there was plenty of room and a good set up to cook at home and enter the park

The view of the mountains was incredible and we saw 4 or 5 Roadrunners. We had a lightning show and it poured for a few hours. The house stayed cool even though it was 95 outside. The location of the house is just a mile or two away from Stater Bros or Grocery Outlet. .

We expected cool nights in the desert, but it was very chilly in February, 32-34F overnight. We needed all the extra blankets the host, Nalini, could supply. And, we needed our PJs. The kitchen needs more silverware/cutlery as it's short on dining knives, but was otherwise very good.

Lovely cabin, great location, close to the 29 Palms entrance to Joshua Tree Park. Grocery stores close by. Cabin is well-equipped, with an intriguing selection of films on VCR (when did you last watch a film on VCR tape?). Good cooking facilities if you like to stay in. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable, and so was the day bed in the main room. The bathroom is cosy, and accessible from the bedroom without having to disturb anyone sleeping in the day bed. Very good location for star gazing on a clear night.

Nothing, it really was a fantastic stay.

Chuck's Cabin is a great place to stay if you are visiting Joshua Tree NP, only 15 min from entrance. Property was very clean and decorated in a southwest style. The owner, Ash, was very accommodating and extremely responsive. We actually booked an extra night a few weeks prior and the process was very easy. I'm also a film photographer and had my film shipped out there, Ash had my box of film waiting for me upon arrival. I would highly recommend a stay here!
