We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Due to an existing traffic situation created by road construction, it took me an hour to get to the parking garage and walk back to the hotel. This occurred between 11 and 12 PM and was very stressful. This construction and resulting detour should have been explained by the front desk on arrival when I inquired about the different parking scenarios.

The location of the hotel is very good, just a block from the beach, and next to a CVS and a little market. There is a city bike station around the corner, which is very convenient. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was clean.

United States of AmericaI was uncomfortable with the request to sign a waiver absolving the hotel of responsibility for my valuables, which made me feel unsafe leaving the cleaning staff unsupervised in my room. Consequently, we opted out of housekeeping services. Additionally, the beach chairs were worn out and not very comfortable.
The hotel and staff were great. We stayed in the courtyard, in a quiet and clean room. The beach was just across the street, so we took advantage of our location to see the sunrise a few mornings. Collins Street, however, was very busy and under a lot of construction, which made it feel too much like a city for my taste. I would have preferred a less congested area.

United KingdomSome of the decor (carpets etc) weee a bit tired. Most of the staff were good. Paulo was exceptionally helpful and informative! A couple of staff were incredibly rude. We twice asked at reception for them to fix the safe in our room - they never did!

The hotel had lots of amenities and the rooms were simple and clean. Love that they also have beach chairs included in the stay. The beach is a short walk across the street so it is very easy.

United States of AmericaOur room was near the courtyard and it was VERY noisy with groups hanging out there late at night. They weren't even being very rowdy, just casual conversation echoed immensely and we got very little sleep the first night. Foot steps above us were also very loud. I'm a heavy sleeper but really had difficulty sleeping here. Also, the lock on the bathroom door was completely busted and appeared to have been that way a long time.
Excellent service, from check in to the bartender. Great location, fun atmosphere. The restaurant in the hotel was very nice and sitting on the patio was wonderful. We really enjoyed the pool and sitting in the cabana. It was peaceful and clean.

United States of AmericaMy only complain was that there was a really cute area where people could hang out but people chose to smoke & vape in that area. I wish it was a non-smoking area because the smoke was stuck in that area...no breeze to carry it away. To the point where I still could smell it an hour later when I walked out of our room to go to supper. The price we paid for one night stay after a cruise was too high!
It was such a cute boutique concept. Loved being so near to the ocean...could walk there. Loved that there were places to eat nearby and could walk to them. There was a fence around the hotel that made it feel safe in the neighborhood. We arrived early after our cruise and they held our luggage while we waited outside by the pool & explored the neighborhood. There was a convenience store & a couple of restaurants nearby.
