I have been in 100s of world hostels and never not been able to drop off bags before check in. There was always staff there, so why make people haul their stuff just because their plane or bus arrived in the morning, or pay $7 at some random place down the road?

If you are low in money, it is a good option, but if you can pay a bit more and you are more exigent, you may have something more comfortable, new, safer, in another hostel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They make an effort to get people together to a daily happy hour, what is very good if you feel alone and want to make friends or get to kow new people.

Breakfast needs some upgrade, there is no lights near the beds or any other light beside the main one,no food allow in the rooms,no electrical outlet in the upper beds.it is not easy to find the entrance to the place, you can't leave a bag after Chek out more than an hour and a half.

Beautiful place,very cozy, good atmosphere, staff is always there to take care 0f everything, very clean. Location close to the French quoter .a place to meet travelers from all around the globe.

Parking is stressful (but that's NOLA in general) just download ParkMobile and it's fine. The lobby smelled like urine and the room smelled mildewy & stale but aside from that it was fine everywhere else.

Great location and super cute interior. Love how convenient it was to get to Bourbon Street. Felt pretty safe as well.

The only complaint I have is that the street access makes it look like a rundown place. The first impression entering is that the place is dirty and smells bad, but once you go into the second floor it changes

The location was great, right in the heart of the French Quarter, we could walk anywhere of interest without issues. The common areas were clean, welcoming, and equipped with the essentials. The staff was helpful and informative even by text, letting us know of any changes.

The room is definitely not lightproof as the curtains don’t cover the top third of the windows. Also, it’s not noise-proof and you may be kept up by loud street sounds well into the early AM. Bring an eye-mask and earplugs if you stay here.

It’s location is close to Bourbon street and quite convenient.

they don't have laundry and luggage store. I arrived there at 11 am and check-in is at 3 pm , but they did not allow me to leave my luggage at the hostel while I waited for the check-in time.

Room was a bit noisy at times (from road noise). Neighbourhood was kinda sketchy but that was expected. Breakfast was rudimentary. Shared bathroom (fine, but wasn't expecting it with a private room for some reason).

So much better than I expect of an American hostel! Clean and friendly. Staff was nice. Breakfast (coffee, bagel, fruit) was offered. Bathroom and other common areas were pretty clean.

Rooms don't have any windows and they don't store luggage at the reception.

They have amazing evening events going on every night and the employees are just so nice! There is a big shared kitchen for you to use with a very comfy couches and TV in the same space.

Flimsy beds.. bathroom needs to be repaired floor. Corners ect.. some showers have more water pressure than others.

I had a quick bagel and cream cheese with apple as i had to run exactly when breakfast starts... bathrooms like 5 or 6 individual bathrooms with toilet and shoeer in each. Thats good.
