The pool and jacuzzi were not in any condition to swim or go in :(. The pool was dirty and COLD and the jacuzzi was worse! Very disappointed as this was one of the reasons I chose your hotel.

Looks good outside but a little dingy inside & dark. Not enough light nor sheer curtains to keep light through the window. So if you close the privacy curtains it gets even darker. Furniture seems to be from another era. The bathroom has the most lights. Wifi is terrible. Hit & miss but more miss. No electrical outlets available to charge phone except in the bathroom Pretty compact room for 2 queen beds. Toilet seat is loose & wobbly so everytime you sit on it, it moves. Pillows are terrible. Maybe being near the water, had to kill a few bugs & flying insects in the room.

Almost didn't get our requested ground floor. But she looked awhile & found one. Ferry to Mackinac Island was so close & convenient. Breakfast was good.

The furniture and inside of the room was so awful. We aren’t sure it was cleaned very good. We found a pair of sunglasses in our bed top. The tv didn’t work. If you turned off a switch on the wall everything turned off.

We didn't have any bath towels in our room. Hours of breakfast are early so you have to get up early to make it before 9 am. Breakfast options weren't the best, ham is terrible, pancakes are ok but the silverware is so cheap it's impossible to cut through them or anything else. We stayed two nights and food was exactly the same both days. Staff in breakfast area was rude. Hotel walkways, stairs, etc were dirty and not well maintained. There is no elevator so plan to carry everything up the stairs. Fan/light in bathroom didn't have a cover over it and the fan was really loud. Pillows are TERRIBLE.

The day after booking, I requested a refund for one of our rooms and never received a response. When we went to our rooms, one of the doors was wide open. We went in and we could tell it had been cleaned, but still a little odd.

The breakfast room was very nice, and the variety was pretty decent. The time of breakfast was also convenient for us.

The beach chairs were filthy and covered in seagull poop. The exterior of a lot of the doors and everything we’re hanging off it was just very well maintained property. Number one problem was no one made the residence quit feeding seagulls and they were a total nuisance every morning. Many residents were very upset and it went on for three or four days.It’s against a law of feed those seagulls and yet no one came out and enforced it and it was very upsetting. The breakfast was horrible. You only had two hours one day. They had no muffins at all up there couple pieces of ham and hard boiled eggs, and that was the extent of the whole breakfast bar.

The room staff was very hospitable and did a nice job.

No soap in room no shampoo lotion. The halls were so dirty in need of paint. The water front needed cleaning chairs scattered all around empty bottles all around broken chairs all around .I feel they need more staff to help clean up a bit However the staff we saw were very friendly. They upgraded our room which was very nice of them So much potential and this could be a goldmine.

Breakfast there was not many choices, there was a TON of bugs right outside our room, the pool was FREEZING and the rooms are very outdated.

However, beach is not very clean as there is a rain water canal merging with the beach, just next to the hotel, which is making the beach water little bit less clean. The hotel management is not maintaining the cleanliness of the hallways and stairs.

Beach covered in seagull droppings

Put us in room with non working bathroom light. Maintenance worked on repairing it for an hour before I finally demanded front desk give us another room. Grudgingly gave a different room with no apology or offer to compensate for inconvenience
