Odd smell in hallway and even worse in room.

When we were checking into the hotel we could smell a foul odor. When we walked into the hallway, to our room, the odor became putrid. It permeated down most of the hallway. The room was like most hotel rooms. The main issues we had were: 1. Crumbs in one of the beds between the bedspread and sheets. 2. The TV didn’t work and we had to wait for close to 2 hours before maintenance got there to fix it. 3. When using the toilet the seat would slide and pop off the edge, one way or the other. 4. The breakfast was listed as ‘excellent’, but really it paled in comparison to other hotels that also have ‘excellent’ listed for their breakfasts. No bacon or sausage, no eggs, it was very carb heavy in biscuits and gravy, waffles & pastries or bread type selections. We always look for the ‘excellent’ rating, in booking.com, for breakfasts, so we know there will be some protein on the buffet for dietary concerns, but this hotel’s breakfast was way off the mark of ‘excellent’.

Very comfortable bed in the room had everything I needed. The lobby and entrance is a little older and lacking, but the price is fantastic and the room comfort was great so I think it’s an awesome deal.

Drug bust right outside our window! 6 police cars and 2 unmarked cars! I know its not the hotels fault but shady area and lots of shady people hanging around!

The rooms and hotel could use some updates. The room didn’t appear to have been swept as there were some food items candy bars still around the bedding frame. Our room was on the first floor next to the smoker table and covering- we could hear men talking outside our window all night long.

The outside pool wasn’t available? It’s summer time and been nice to swim and lounge. No elevator even though it’s only 3 floors. The steps going up to the second floor were very dirty, the rest of the floors n room weee very clean.

Very nice front staff! The hotel is close to everything and the expressway if u need to go anywhere else! The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning, n wi-fi worked great!

The smoking area was right outside our room. A group was out there during the night talking very loudly. Would be better to have it located away from the rooms.

The day before we left there were tiny roaches by the sink. The bathroom door look like it was peeing if and had been sitting in water for a while. There was also hair on the bathroom floor.

Bed was comfortable. All the lights worked. Shower was nice and warm. Breakfast was very good. Helpful staff.

Carpets and furniture needs cleaning. Found dead bug next to the tub. Light next to bed did not work. Someone moved floor light over to fix that. The fried eggs were dry and crispy. Furniture is showing damage.

There was people hanging out in front and sides of building. Mostly men which made it a very uncomfortable feeling. Room was near outside door and people came in and out at all hours which again made 2 widows feel very uncomfortable. There was trash bags outside in hall whole time we were there.
