Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Cayman IslandsThe downstairs rooms had not been cleaned and readied for guests and cleaners had to come in the evening and ready the facilities. Barn style separator doors for the accommodations downstairs should be advertised as for an adult or 2 with 2 small children. It would not be for 3 adults as we expected. For the sake of the 3 adults staying there, happy it was only a night. Lighting to the path downstairs to the guesthouse was basically non-existent. We had to use our cell phones to light the way down the rocky path. The host said they had solar lights but were not working. There were no wastebaskets in the masterbath or bedroom. There was no shower in downstairs bath - It was a fantastic spa bath for persons staying there to relax with 2 small children - not for persons on the go needing to take a quick shower. More low ambient lighting needed around the property downstairs.
The hosts were easily accessible and the code was available when we arrived and we had no issues accessing. The guidebook put together by the hosts was also excellent to make the most of your stay. The games room, spa and home entertainment amenities were also very nice. The view and location and the property itself were excellent. We would come back for a longer stay to utilise the amenities with less than 10 adults or 7 adults and 3 children.

United StatesNothing, there is nothing that needed any improvement.
Home was exceptional! The kitchen is stocked with everything you could ever want. Wide variety of coffee and Tea all provided. The robes were a thoughtful and fun perk. The view was great, we went on two hikes right from the back yard and the back deck was perfect for morning coffee.

United StatesThere really isn't much that we didn't like about this house/experience. The owners were receptive and communicative. I will just point out a couple of things that may be helpful to know. The only negatives, which depending on your specific circumstances may not be negatives at all, are these: 1. It is not very accessible to the handicapped. My mom uses a wheeled walker and was able to navigate the upper floor of the house fine, but there are decorative rugs everywhere, many which are curled up on the corners which was a huge tripping/fall hazard for her, though not an issue for anyone else. There was only one bed of the 4 upstairs that she could get in/out of as they are all very high. None of the bathrooms have an accessible shower, i.e., no grab bars at all, and none of the toilets have any grab bars near them and they are all standard/low. There was thankfully one toilet she was able to use by pulling herself up on a nearby shelf. However, this house if not catering/marketing to the elderly/handicapped population so it is not a fault, just an observation that may be helpful if you have someone in your party that is in this type of situation. 2. The other thing that was a little bit challenging and depending on the ages of your kids/family using the house may or may not be an issue, is the fact that there is not an indoor staircase to the lower level. You have to exit the home and walk around outside to the lower level. Our kiddos were ages 11-20, so it was ok, but they were all fairly creeped out at night to be going back and forth. I feel like we would've used the lower level as a family a lot more if we didn't have to walk outside to get there in the pouring rain. They do, thoughtfully, have numerous umbrellas there for use as well as some flashlights which is nice, as it is quite dark outside, especially since Sedona is a dark-after-10 o'clock city.
This is a beautiful home with lots of love and care put into the details. Nearly everything was readily available to provide the comforts of home. The weather was horrible, and Sedona was extremely crowded during our stay, as it was the during the week between Christmas and New Year's Day. Because of this, we abandoned our plans for eating out and cooked nearly all meals at the house. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked and made cooking, and grilling outside as well, easy and enjoyable. The hot tub outside was used a lot during our stay and was made even nicer by the comfortable, plush robes available in each bedroom for walking out to it. There were separate hot tub towels which was nice, and a large capacity washer/dryer available for use. It was nice to quick dry the hot tub towels for the next use and not have them have to be hanging all over to dry. There are a couple of indoor jacuzzi tubs as well for use. The towels that are provided are plentiful and plush. The beds were all comfortable, as well as the common area furniture. There was a variety of games and books available, in addition to the pool table and foosball table downstairs for entertainment. Since our weather was so bad, we didn't get to enjoy hiking/Sedona as much as we had planned, so having this stuff available was really nice. Sedona was extremely crowded while we were there and driving in there was not fun at all. The location of this house was perfect for avoiding that area, still with plenty to see and do right around it while avoiding the crowds. There is a grocery store less than 5 minutes away which was nice, and some less popular hiking trails close by as well. It was nice to have a coffee pot and Keurig both provided, with the coffee even there as well. Other basics-sugar, S&P, etc. were provided too, which was nice to not have to buy them for a few days use.
