It was a very cool area you are on a island, your surrounded by water, right across from the coast guard building, lots of family's and people fishing ir justchecking out the river, pretty cool vibe plus it seems like a very safe location wasn't worried about my car at all, also peaceful at night.

The pool party was too noisy until after 11:15 pm. It would be so much better to close pool area down by 10 pm.

We had a perfect view of the River.. The Suspension Bridge was lit up with white Lights & was very beautiful.

With construction going on, parking was limited.

The front desk staff were friendly and provided lots of helpful information. Loved being right on the river! Our room seems to have been newly remodeled.

The hotel needs a major remodel. Very dated and a bit dilapidated, but clean. Breakfast was okay, not great, but other than eggs, mostly processed foods and pastries. Would recommend getting standard loungers for the pool.

Great views over the Columbia River! Hotel is in a secluded area on the marina, so most "noise" came from the kids in the pool below, and the occasional seagull. The bed was quite comfy with good pillows. Friendly staff. We enjoyed the pool (nice temperature), but the loungers are curved so they're only comfortable if lying on your back. You can't lie on your stomach in these. Strange.

Toilet to low and not enough plugs in the room to hook up all the items I needed to recharge.

Breakfast was typical of a hotel of this size, the room was OK however the toilet was made for a midget, felt like I was sitting on the floor. The view was over the parking lot with a view of the Coast Guard Station rather than a view of the river and the activities that transpired on it. The hotel is currently going through a remodel which could account for some of the problems. I hope they fix the toilet.

Looks like they're renovating and updating the hotel, and the other wing on our floor was closed for renovations. My only complaint was that there was an extremely strong smell of fresh paint and paint thinner that we had to cover our breathing in the hallway. I put a towel at the foot of the door to keep the smell out and kept the fan on all night to create a positive air space. But hey, what can you do when they're doing their best to update the place?

We've stayed here before and really enjoyed it. The property is right on the Columbia River with some great views. It's on a little peninsula/island with a brew pub and fine dining restuarant within walking distance. Whether you're in Richland or Kennewick, it's easy access to both cities and freeways. The breakfast is excellent -- more of a breakfast buffet. We had the view of the Coast Guard station (and not the river view), but you can easily go on the large deck and pool area to watch the sunset and river.

The restaurant was closed for renovation, so it was disappointing. The rooms and areas were a little rough/beat.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were a little "beat" but all in all comfortable. The air-conditioner was quiet and worked well! View was great.

The smell of the room was still pretty smoky. One of the costs of an older space. The noise isolation could have been a little better, as the parking lot is so close to the windows. We happened to be staying when a biker club was coming through, so the exhaust was pretty loud.

Great view from breakfast. Lots of space to walk outside, relatively private. Value is hard to beat for one night, two people.
