How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The booking listing shows there is a hot tub in the pool facility. They have covered the hot tub and there is no longer one there. The breakfast was less than par. Eggs tasted like chalk. There was no other meat options, but the pork in the biscuits and gravy. The orange juice tasted like water. The coffee in the breakfast area was cold as well as the coffee by the front desk. The complementary cookies they advertised in the front office were never refilled. At 5 AM we tried to shower and there was no hot water when informing the front desk. We were never apologized to just told they would tell a manager and we were hung up on. We did not have hot water until after 8 o’clock. There was also no mention of the fitness center being closed for repairs during this time, and we only found out when we went downstairs to use it.

everything smells of cigarettes, completely put off by it
I am so sorry to hear that the Cigarette smell was getting in to the Hotel. They are allowed to smoke in the Casino and when they have events, the people think they can stand in the hallway which is closer to us than the Casino. The smoke drifts it's way right in to the Hotel. I'm going to ask around to see if there is something we can do to stop that from happening. Again, my apologies.

The double doors headed to the casino opens and you get the instant regret of the smell of ashtray and it just doesn't go away.. The Pub attached could close the doors so without a complete detox it had super smelled awful of the ashtray. The wait staff couldn't figure out that only certain steaks were available until 5. The soft drinks were fountain type and had absolutely no carbonated water in, but it was perfect for gin, rum, or whiskey but was horrible. The staff were drinking bottled Pop and you would think that they understood what you were complaining about! They encouraged you to get your own salad from the salad bar or they would have to get your dinner salad.. in which the side salad jumps in price to 9 dollars because there is cottage cheese, canned peaches, and canned chocolate pudding After the discussion about the steaks that were available and so I changed my steak selection and everyone's food arrived 15 minutes after 5.. and it was cold. That was 35 minutes after I had changed my order Getting back to our room we all smelled the ashtray all night. Showers didn't help..

The bed was old.. When you hear springs bind..it's old

No hot tub as seen in pictures. Need to update photos. Was really looking forward to soaking and was disappointed it was filled in with cement.

Verified reviewThe facility was not very busy during our stay and it was extremely quiet. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Staff is wonderful. Breakfast was basic but fine.
Being part of a casino/resort, one would expect above-average choices when it comes to dining options but that's not the case... There is only a very basic 'sports-bar' available with an average food menu and the most limited wine list one could imagine.
We are glad to hear your stay was comfortable. We hope to have you back again soon. Unfortunately the Dining options are not a part of the Hotel. They belong to the Casino.

The smoke in the building made my eyes hurt.

Verified reviewGood location, comfortable room. Breakfast had good options for hot food, but only a few muffins/pastries were available as well as only 3 pieces of fruit.
Hallway/lobby was very smoky. Would like to see the hotel put in better ventilation in this area.

Unfortunately we have nothing to do with the Hallway and the smoke. That is all owned by the Casino.
