We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Very clean and classy-looking hotel. It appeared new, so I was shocked to learn it was 7-8 years old. There was a reasonably priced bar in the lobby, which was nice, and a small sitting area next to a fireplace nearby. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and quiet.

United StatesThey said they would charge 25$ per pet but I got charged $150 for 3 pets. I didn’t notice until I got my receipt via email. I am thankful for the cleanliness and nice staff ( Shannon at the front desk) and their willingness to accept pets (and I am in the middle of a cross country move ) so I didn’t have any time to call back to complain.

United StatesThe shower didn’t drain. No pet area. Breakfast was lacking, no syrup for waffle? No milk for cereal? And when I asked for water that didn’t have oranges she took it straight to the tap. The staff checking us in was less than pleasant.

Everything felt very clean and up-to-date. Staff had already added an extra mattress to our room and put sheets on it before we arrived. The extra blanket they provided was very warm.

United StatesIf you are needing a place to stay in this general area of the Nebraska panhandle, it's the best option. Clean, safe hotel, nice staff. I even went for a run in the morning to the local Bridgeport State Recreation Area which was a nice way to get the day started.

United StatesThere was basically no breakfast. I think their breakfast person quit, but they didn’t have a backup plan. Breakfast is served from 6am to 9am. We arrived at 8am for breakfast both mornings and there was nothing left.
Everything was clean, which it the most important part of me.
