Needs better breakfast

We left a shirt in our room and despite numerous attempts to contact them,the hotel never even acknowledged our messages. Thank goodness it wasn’t an item of more value. Hence my low score on staff- they were ok while we stayed there but the refusal to respond to our messages is abysmal.

The room I was assigned to initially when I checked in had a very rank stanky smell. It made my head hurt. I made the front desk aware of the problem and I was promptly given a different room. The new room overall was ok except the couch was worn and not supportive. I couldn't sit on it without sinking into it and had a difficult time getting up.

I did appreciate I was able to control the air and the bathroom was nice. I liked having the separate areas and the bedroom itself was really a nice size. The staff was nice and accommodating.

There was a musty smell coming from the room. Stood on the first floor felt a little outdated the room.

Location was great right off the interstate. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms are comfortable.

The room definitely needs updating especially the sleeper sofa. The mattress on the sleeper sofa was old and springy and not very comfortable. There also not enough towels and pillows for the four of us. We had to go to the front desk to ask for pillows for the sleeper sofa and two more towels. The pillows were also extremely small.

It was easy to find right off the hwy. It’s close to many businesses such as Walmart and restaurants. We got a king suite and it was decent size. Breakfast was also decent. It has a nice patio but not much of a view.

The pool and hot tub looked murky and dirty.

Very bright and airy lobby. Great staff at check- in and otherwise. I had room 216 which was a suite and was very good. They were just starting a complimentary Happy Hour when we started (free nibbles etc) but we didn’t partake though it was tempting. Easy to find location, with plenty of free parking, good nearby Walmart and handy for downtown Springfield (about 10-25 minutes).

The hotel was fully occupied because of a major car show in town. The breakfast area was somewhat of a "zoo." The breakfast area needs to be larger and items more spread out.

The room was a handicapped accessible suite so it was large in size. The bed was a little soft but otherwise comfortable. The pillows was small; almost like throw pillows.

It was fine. Wish there was more seating for breakfast. I chose not to have breakfast the second morning of my stay because there was nowhere for me to sit.

Breakfast was good, but some items were low, and the staff seemed irritated when asked to fill. One staff member was overhead saying, "If you keep filling it, they'll keep eating." Guests shouldn't have to ask for more food. They should be filled before they're empty. Not everyone can get up at 6 am. to eat. Other than that, the food was delicious. Also, we couldn't get the hot tub to work.

Front desk staff were very friendly! Beds and pillows were comfortable and smelled clean. The pool was nice and cool. Breakfast tasted good. Great location!

the staff was wonderful but overworked.. seeing all the dirty laundry on the floor waiting to be washed was not good. Springfield has come on rough times and they all do the Best they can. There also were tornados a couple weeks prior to our visit that killed electricity.
