Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I prefer my room to be cleaned on a daily basis,which wasn't the case here at Comfort Suites

Staff service, the breakfast was okayyy but not uo to what the reviews made it out to be and the cleanliness was just okay with what we are used to when dealing with Choice hotels...
Price was better than expected but location was perfect for what we were down there to do.

I was over-charged! Called and was told I would have to call tomorrow and talk with manager. Would have said this place was fantastic and it was but do not like being charged more than what the receipt says I paid!

Everything was good.
Breakfast was good. Location was exceptional! We had an event at the convention center and this location made it easy to/from.

Nothing they can do about it But it seems the street outside is a drag strip for some people on Friday and Saturday night Once again nothing bad on hotel.

We had an accident and tried to call the service desk but ended up calling emergency instead, then finally got ahold of the desk to advise then of an injury that occurred in the room, they Stated that they would be up there shortly to check on us but did not show and had to wait till we checked out in order to get asked if everything was okay in which it was not. And ended up in the emergency room for 9 hours.

There is only one elevator available so it takes some time to get to the different floors. Also they only have two luggage carts for use.
The breakfast was amazing and had multiple choices. I expected the same thing to be served the next morning and I was pleasantly surprised there was a different option available. Saturday was sausage and eggs and Sunday was mini omelets and bacon. The staff was very nice and helpful as well. The hotel was sold out the weekend we were there but you couldn’t tell it. It was very quiet in our rooms.

Since it’s downtown we know there is an element of not knowing about our vehicle being secure, but we worried for nothing.
The staff is extremely helpful we had never downloaded or used a car sharing app, they told us how to download it and how to put it in the information. Would definitely stay here again for the service alone.

The room had to many different bugs in it for me this time which normally doesn’t be like that. The room had a few Nats in it, a fly that bugged the hell out of me and a big cricket was in the bathroom.
I’ma truck driver from North Carolina that runs a route out to Dallas a lot and every time I go in that area I stay at that same Hotel. It’s definitely the location for me being a truck driver that Ubers to the Hotel. You can walk to so many places in 5 min. Walmart, plenty of restaurants etc..

I didn’t like how small the King Suite was and that the bed had a few ants, so I was bitten.
I loved that the staff was friendly. The breakfast was great. The price for two nights was also very reasonable.

Only thing that could have been better was house keeping at least goin by to check on our room to at least throw the trash, new towels and just to make sure nothing was needed! House keeping did not go the 3 days we stayed but we were able to get things needed from front desk!
Breakfast was good! Location was also good due to it being a little separate from town and we felt safer as we seen a lot of homeless people downtown :(
