Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I was surprised that first night was so expensive compared to the others. Because I booked from overseas and used a third party booking, I couldn't see the cost breakdown per night until I arrived. Had I known, I would have booked my first night at another hotel. Why the spike in price? - $249/night compared to $90/night.
Breakfast was good. Room, location and workout room were good. Nice room and really good cleaning staff.

As soon as we entered the room I headed to use the bathroom where I noticed there was a ball of hair on the floor, and the wall next to the toilet had stains on it.
The location was great for what we were there for, beds were also comfortable and room size was great.

A bit tricky to get to off the highway but we made it :)
Great rooms with a couch and nice bathrooms. Liked that it was set ip for hearing and mobility issues and it was great to see. Good pool!

The bathtub in room 203 didn't have a stopper where you could take a bath

The light switch in the bathroom was dirty, and the floors looked like they needed a good vacuuming. There was food on the floor

The room we stayed in could have been cleaner. There was a diety sock on the closet, and there were stains in the bathtub.
Breakfast was great. The location was perfect, and the price was the BEST!

The beds are WAY too hard. It caused me and my hubby sevier backpain and headaches (Room 202) could not sleep good at all. Plus a option of a fan running needs to be an option it was also too quiet

Thin floors. You can easily hear any jumping and heavy walking. Sort of kept me up all night.

I have to go to bed very early as I have to get up at 4am for work. I could hear a large group partying and playing music loudly next door. Kept slamming the door. I would have complained to staff but I had an insanely rough day and i was exhausted I didnt feel like changing rooms. Input in ear plugs and eventually was able to fall asleep. Also when I didn't smell like weed it smelled very musty like mildew carpet

The bed was a little hard for my liking and the lamps over the night table in between the beds were really loose. I felt like the lamps would come off the wall when I turned off the light at night.
The hotel offered a variety of items for breakfast. The space in the room and bathroom was nice. I was able to spread out our stuff without feeling closed in.

The room could have been a bit cleaner but there was a large group just checking out of rooms and Texas Tech families checking in. I honestly believe the staff was doing the best they could to clean rooms quickly.
Amazing, hot, high pressure shower and comfortable bed. Front desk evening staff was friendly. Great stay for the price, especially considering that it was Texas Tech Family Weekend. Breakfast and cleaning staff were also very friendly.

Parking was horrible. After 10pm there was literally no where to legally park as two tour buses had taken up most of the slots the first night and UHauls, delivery trucks and trailers took up the second night. People (about ten cars) had to park in the fire lanes and lobby areas as the adjacent apartment complex had a tow warning sign. An 18 wheeler parked in the dirt lot next door which was helpful. Parking is an issue here and if anybody has an event in the event center next door it will be a much worse issue. I would gladly stay here again in the future if parking wasn't a potential issue and with events at Tech like football games, parents weekend and move-in and move-out it could certainly become one. Finding a place to sit down to eat breakfast can also be a challenge and the empty conference room table next door is off limits. But the breakfast selection is good and the lady manning the area excellent.
Room was clean. Breakfast was good though they ran out of some breakfast items on the second day like oatmeal. Staff was okay though could be friendlier when checking in regarding where breakfast was located. Breakfast staff excellent and helpful.
