Couldn’t control the air/heat in the room and there’s no fan. Make sure to ask them about the turnover service at nighttime, we were thrown off forsure. overall a wonderful place we even seen famous people while staying

We upgraded our rooms to one of the nicest rooms in the hotel, and it was quite pricey, and the room was beautiful, but upon staying longer, we noticed the problems with the room. We went to the front desk and they significantly discounted the room due to a full hotel, however, they probably should not rent that room out until the renovations are done especially at $1000 a night.

The room is boring. The art is old and dated. Just not impressed. Maybe find a good designer to give the place some zing.

I arrived in my ford. f350 and. the valet would. not park it. I asked where I could park because I am not familiar with the area and he said a parking garage around the corner but I might not fit (and did not). I asked him if I could take my luggage in so I would not have to lug it around and he said there were busses coming so basically no. I drove around for about an hour and finally found an outdoor parking lot. I felt the valet was rude. The rest of the staff was exceptional as always. By the way my trick is standard off the lot, not lifted or any modifications but it is large.

The bars adjoining the hotel close at 11.30pm and a coffee was not available at 11.am in the morning in the restaurant as they were already preparing for lunch, which was a shame as there is not another coffee shop in the vicinity. My biggest gripe was the room. The room itself is of a good size with a two seater sofa, coffee table and also a good size bathroom. The room we were in though was dated, dull and uninspiring, maybe from the 80’s. The carpet is very faded in places and the furniture shows lots of wear with scuffs and scrapes on the corners. The shower products in the shower are in big refillable bottles. With a total cost of $760. for 2 nights I did not find value for money and feel overall somewhat disappointed that this stay did not meet up to my expectations.

The hotel lobby in itself is appealing and you are welcomed by the staff in a friendly manner. There are restaurants within walking distance and 2 stores close by. Sad to say that Indianapolis is still struggling to recover after Covid generally and the mall is seemingly devoid of life. Having booked a room you have access to the swimming pool, steam room and sauna on the 6th floor which was awesome. The room was clean with coffee & tea facilities.

I made a couple of calls beforehand about paying in cash without the presence of a creditcard. At check-in I then somehow still needed a creditcard. It took some time to get that sorted.

My room had marks on the wall and holes on the wall in the bathroom. The hotel is listed as 5 star on booking.com website, and it definitely is NOT 5 star.

The staff was amazing, the location was perfect. I had a massage which was amazing. The Spa staff was accommodating and a perfect respite after my flight.

I' ve been to Indianapolis a few times before, unfortunately the downtown area where the hotel is located has really gone downhill. It was dirty, aggressive homeless people everywhere, cars almost drag racing down the street in front of the hotel. My wife and I felt unsafe walking to dinner which is saying something as we're from Chicago.

Hotel was really nice and near our ultimate destination.
